BYD and its local partner Rêver Automotive announced on October 10th the debut of the extended range of BYD Atto 3 into the Thai market.

The debut of BYD Atto 3 follows BYD’s joint brand conference, its signing with the WHA Corporation Public Company Limited, its application for policy subsidies and BYD Atto 3 test drive events in Thailand.

Boosted by Thailand’s car-making heritage and first-class manufacturing capabilities, as well as the huge development potential of Thailand’s new energy vehicle market, Thailand becomes an important automobile production base in Southeast Asia. To better serve local consumers, BYD is planning to build its first overseas passenger vehicle factory in Thailand. The Thai government has publicized its support policies to promote the development of new energy vehicles, which reinforces BYD’s confidence in developing the Thai market and planning product lineups.

As BYD’s first passenger car in the global market, BYD Atto 3 was launched in China in February this year and then in several Asia-Pacific markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Cambodia. BYD Atto 3 has received positive reviews from critics in its overseas debut.

BYD Atto 3, based on e-Platform 3.0, boasts superior safety, efficiency, intelligence, and aesthetics. The exterior is created with the Dragon Face 3.0 design language and the interior is crafted under the concept of sports and fitness, featuring a sense of technology and visual impact and reflecting a balance between tradition and innovation. This time, BYD and its local partner Rêver have localized the body color names to better suit the Thai market: emerald, solar, lagoon, frost, and graphite. The five names are all inspired by the colors associated with natural phenomena, showing the car’s excellent combination of technology and nature.

In the future, BYD will continue to deepen its localization in Thailand. BYD will steadily implement its “Cool the Earth by 1°C” initiative and further promote the green transformation of Thailand under the country’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. BYD will actively contribute to leading low-carbon life by providing high-quality products and comprehensive after-sales service.
