Felipe Drugovich will return to Formula E with Maserati MSG Racing as the young Brazilian racer gears up to participate in the series’ upcoming rookie test at the Rome E-Prix.
The session will provide an additional opportunity for teams to refine their performance ahead of the penultimate race of Season 9, while continuing to develop and nurture the next generation of motor racing talent.
A Reigning Champion

Felipe Drugovich, Maserati MSG Racing
After previously representing Maserati MSG Racing in May’s Berlin rookie test, Felipe is no stranger to the fully-electric World Championship and is one of motorsport’s most promising young talents.
He tasted title success soon after stepping up to professional competition but earned international renown through his execution of a dominant Formula 2 championship run in 2022.
Scoring five wins and 11 podiums, Felipe dominated the Formula One feeder category to win the Drivers’ Championship by a staggering 101-point gap over his closest competitor.
As the Reserve Driver for Aston Martin and McLaren in F1, he is a proven hand in car development, and will continue to provide invaluable insight in Formula E.
Berlin’s Pacesetter
In his first outing in the Maserati Tipo Folgore, Felipe set the tone across the single day of track action, and collected data that was vital to the Monégasque marque’s recent return to form.
Touring Berlin’s Tempelhof Circuit on 99 occasions, Felipe completed a significant amount of running and also set the pace, just over one-tenth of a second ahead of a competitive field.
As one of the most technical circuits on the Formula E calendar, Rome’s Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR will present an exciting new challenge as Felipe takes in his second experience of Gen3 machinery.
