BYD Seal was unveiled at the ‘Innovation Meets Acceleration’ event held at the Zhuhai International Circuit, with media, industry, partners and prospective owners.
The launch event drew an eclectic mix of attendees from Hong Kong, among them the distinguished Mr. Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division; Mr. Ouyang Xiaocheng, Sales Director of BYD Marketing Department; and Mr. Zhang Jingrong, Director of Passenger Vehicle Operations at BYD Hong Kong.
Following the BYD Dolphin, the BYD Seal is the second electric passenger vehcile featuring “Ocean Aesthetics” to enter the Hong Kong market. The BYD Seal is the world’s first EV model equipped with the CTB (Cell to Body) technology and iTAC technology, a rear-wheel/all-wheel drive architecture, double wishbone front suspension, and rear five-link suspension. Together, these cutting-edge technologies offer users an unparalleled driving experience that seamlessly combines safety and handling.
At the event, Mr. Zhang Jingrong unveiled the price details of the BYD Seal, emphasizing BYD’s commitment to offering a spectrum of choices that cater to diverse consumer needs in Hong Kong.
The ceremony transitioned to an event celebrating the first 100 BYD Seal owners in Hong Kong, blending brand immersion with heartfelt moments, and inviting them to the expansive BYD family. The prospective owners were then given a firsthand driving experience on the race track.
Concluding on a high, the event spotlighted BYD’s unwavering commitment to the Hong Kong market, both in product innovation and expansion of sales and service networks. The addition of new showrooms in Shatin, Sai Kung, and soon in Tseung Kwan O, along with service centers in Kowloon Bay and Tai Wai, underscores BYD’s vision to provide unparalleled customer service.
