Strategic partnership agreement between QEV Technologies and CATL for the cooperation in the field of aftermarket services.
With the newly concluded agreement, the Spanish company QEV Technologies SL is from now on the authorized service agency of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and updates of the electric vehicle batteries and Energy Storage System (ESS) in Europe.
CATL is a global leader battery manufacturer and technology company headquartered in Ningde, China that specializes in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems, as well as battery management systems (BMS). CATL’s battery technology is currently used by electric vehicle manufacturers in the international market, and CATL collaborates with companies including PSA, Hyundai, Honda, BMW, Daimler AG, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo, etc.
Under the agreement, CATL and QEV Tech will facilitate the mutual transfer of knowledge and expertise. CATL will provide QEV Tech with comprehensive training on battery know-how. QEV Tech will provide qualified battery experts and facilities to offer aftersales services to the clients of CATL around Europe.
