XEV showcased at IAA Mobility its brand-new upgraded urban mobility product Yoyo, that will be simultaneously launched in Italy, Germany, France, and Spain.

Deliveries of the new Yoyo are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023 at starting price set at €16,990 (excluding subsidies).

Currently, XEV has established over 120 sales outlets in Italy, Germany, France, and Spain, and it is expected that the total number of outlets in Europe will exceed 300 by the end of this year, further enhancing consumer convenience for in-store experiences and purchases.

It aims to provide users with a city travel experience full of exploration and enjoyment. Yoyo features a playful geometric body design, intelligent frameless windows rarely seen in the same class, three-dimensional LED lights that complement each other at the front and rear, as well as a panoramic anti-UV glass roof, creating a futuristic atmosphere. Notably, the extensive use of glass and steel craftsmanship results in a minimalist modern style infused with creativity, providing a more spacious and transparent field of vision.

In terms of interior design, Yoyo adopts bold and sophisticated fashionable color schemes along with low VOC environmentally friendly industrial materials, ensuring personalized comfort and eco-friendly health in the cabin space. Furthermore, Yoyo is equipped with a 10.25-inch high-definition intelligent screen integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. Additionally, it supports remote control features through a mobile app, allowing users to control the air conditioning, windows, unlocking, locating the car and checking the battery level, perfectly combining technology with fashion.

In terms of power, Yoyo offers a pure electric range of 150 km, a top speed of 80 km/h and a maximum motor power of 15 kW, enabling users to effortlessly navigate their daily lives. Moreover, Yoyo offers two modes—standard and sport—for free switching, equipped with EPS electric power steering and combined with a compact body and minimal turning radius, providing agile vehicle control which is ideal for navigating bustling city streets.

At this year’s IAA Mobility, XEV officially introduces the Xpression personalized service.

With its world-leading high-precision 3D printing technology, XEV has opened up a new realm of possibilities for vehicle personalization. Currently, the Xpression service offers 42 personalized Yoyo blade options for users to choose from, collaborating with the New York-based emerging online art platform UAAD. Artists from around the world will continuously provide users with trendy, fun and stylish options, offering a fresh, delightful and unique experience, making urban travel more enjoyable.

Effortless battery swapping in just 3 Minutes

With a simple and straightforward operation, the battery swapping process can be completed in just 3 minutes. When the vehicle needs to recharge, users can visit XEV’s battery swapping station. By extracting three lightweight cartridge-style battery packs from the rear battery compartment and exchanging them with pre-charged batteries in the swapping cabinet, users can seamlessly continue their journey.

Additionally, XEV has partnered with ENI, a European energy giant, to deploy and operate battery swapping networks across Europe, allowing users to recharge at ENI gas stations. Leveraging ENI’s network, XEV has already established over 30 stations in five cities in Italy, including Turin, Bologna, Milan, Florence and Rome, proving to be highly popular among users. With the launch of Yoyo in Italy, Germany, France, Spain and other countries, XEV’s battery swapping network will also expand simultaneously, providing users with a more convenient urban travel experience.

XEV is also committed to coordinated global development. Starting in 2024, XEV will simultaneously introduce multiple new models tailored to the ASEAN, South American and major right-hand drive markets, leading the future trend of global urban travel.

  1. Good evening, I would very much like to purchase a New 2024. Model XEV Yo Yo for my personal use in Bristol England . Maybe you can Direct me to the nearest Supplying Dealer to the UK. For ease of on going future Service. I am aware that currently this vehicle is in Left Hand Drive, Of course a Right Hand Drive would be more suitable for UK roads which I have read that it will made in Right Hand Drive for future production.
