Five units of pure electric semitrailer tractors BYD Q3MA, has been delivered by BYD Mexico to Marva, a large local transport company, at the recent Transport Expo in Puebla.
BYD will deliver a total of 120 pure electric semitrailer tractors to Marva by the end of this year, constituting BYD’s first pure electric tractor fleet in Latin America.
Equipped with the world’s leading lithium iron phosphate battery and the integrated electric drive axle independently developed by BYD, the Q3MA features intense power and a long range. With a curb weight of 12 tons and a maximum allowable total traction mass of 35 tons, it is widely used in ports, industrial parks, and short- and medium-distance intercity logistics transportation. Adhering to the principle of “high efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental protection”, the Q3MA will enormously benefit the local area in terms of sustainable development, thanks to its new energy technologies which are emission-free and pollution-free.
