Among them, Electric Motor News will be present as Media Partner with Dario Ruggeri, who will be in charge of documenting the different moments of the adventure to offer the best possible information of the only team representing Italy in what is considered by all as the most important race in the world reserved for solar cars.

The scientific research association Futuro Solare Olus was born in 2006 thanks to the support of many innovators, students and teachers to share research and results in the scientific sector and particularly in the sector of eco-sustainable mobility through innovative energy systems applied to automotive a “low cost” philosophy using, where possible, materials from recycling or non-carbon sources.

The project actively involves young university and high school students from local technical institutes.

Thus approximately 2300 years after the birth of the mathematician, physicist and inventor Archimedes of Syracuse (born approximately 287 BC), Futuro Solare brings the Archimede 2.0 solar car to the World Solar Challenge, an evolution of Archimede which has already competed in several international competitions reserved for solar cars… obviously it was also born in Syracuse.
