16-year-old Enzo Hallman becomes the first confirmed driver for the 2024 NXT Gen Cup, when the EV championship will share races with Formula E and DTM.
It feels amazing to continue racing in NXT Gen Cup and be a part of the championship’s international expansion – said Enzo Hallman.
The Swedish driver finished fourth overall in his first NXT Gen Cup season, notching up an impressive total of six podium finishes from 12 races.
I learned so much last year and I will start on a much higher level this season – said Enzo Hallman.
I almost have to pinch myself when looking at the calendar, seeing which arenas we are going to race on this year. All tracks will be new to me, so it won’t be easy, but my goal is to fight for the title.
The six-race NXT Gen Cup calendar will start with the Italian Formula E round at Misano in April, for a total of six race weekends with Formula E and DTM – including the iconic Monaco, Berlin, Norisring and London street races.
