On November 29th, BYD participated in the 40th Thailand International Motor Expo with five key NEV models, along with a series of BYD-developed cutting-edge technologies.
As one of Asia’s most important automotive industry events, the Thailand International Motor Expo attracts millions of visitors and showcases the latest technologies and products worldwide.
Occupying a substantial 1,806 square meters, BYD’s exhibition was the largest single automotive brand exhibit at the show. Apart from three models currently on sale in Thailand, the BYD Atto 3, BYD Dolphin, and BYD Seal, BYD also introduced two models to Thailand for the first time – Denza N7 and Yangwang U8. Furthermore, the exhibition highlighted BYD’s innovative e-Platform 3.0, a cutting-edge platform specifically designed for electric vehicles to enhance efficiency, intelligence, aesthetics, and safety.
Ke Yubin, the General Manager of BYD Thailand, said at the event:
With BYD’s global sales of new energy vehicles surpassing 6 million units, we are honored to showcase our latest products and technologies at such a prestigious expo.
Currently, the Thai automotive industry is undergoing a significant transition towards electrification, supported by a growing number of policies from the government. Driven by the accelerating development in the NEV sector, BYD’s participation in the event underscores its commitment to technological innovations and advancing e-mobility.
Looking ahead, BYD will consistently promote localization in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian market, and accelerate regional electrification transformation and sustainable development with its “Cool the Earth by 1℃” initiative.
