The news of the closure of the Media Center was in the air, but official confirmation arrived at 11pm via email from Formula E with this statement:

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your patience and apologies for the late message.

Please be aware that the Media Centre is closed tomorrow, Wednesday. No accredited media is permitted on site. This is to allow the Media Centre and surrounding areas to be cleaned. We aim to re-open if on-track activity resumes on Thursday. Please follow notices on Formula E’s Twitter account regarding plans for Thursday.

Thanks for your understanding.

In addition to the correct and dutiful cleaning necessary in the Media Center (and I can say you that the smell of burning was very strong), it is clear that the need to carry out in-depth investigations into the incident requires time and above all tranquility and concentration to arrive at understand and clarify the situation.
