NXT Gen Cup will join DTM for an intense total of 12 races across four race weekends from July to October in 2024.

We are thrilled and thankful to have deepened our cooperation with ADAC and DTM, finding a solution which enables our young drivers to keep racing this year. We took our first international steps with DTM and ADAC last year and our 2024 calendar is really closing the circle – said Fredrik Lestrup, NXT Gen Cup founder.

The calendar will provide our junior drivers and partners with a great mix of street circuits, national circuits and big international circuits. Another key element is the DTM race weekends with its massive fanbase, major international teams and a world-class professional commercial, event and sporting setup.

The new calendar will feature legendary German circuits Norisring in July, Nürburgring in August, Sachsenring in September and Hockenheim in October.

We are glad to extend our cooperation and the number of race weekends where the NXT Gen Cup will join us. The unique concept of the NXT Gen Cup proves how exciting electric racing is and offers junior drivers the perfect and cost effective first step to race on one of Europe’s biggest professional motorsport platforms. Our cooperation fits really well to our pioneering role in the areas of motorsport regarding initiatives such as sustainable fuel, an electric rally series and concepts for sustainable events – said ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss.

Two of the race weekends, Norisring and Sachsenring, will feature a double header where the NXT Gen Cup drivers will take part in a total of four race heats as opposed to the regular two.

NXT Gen Cup features an arrive-and-drive concept, with a full season available for 55.000€ – including a robust education package in sponsor relations, company economics, PR and media relations, social media and much more.

Last year saw a competitive grid of the all-electric LRT NXT1 race cars being raced by 23 drivers from eight different countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Czechia, Great Britain, Germany, United States and Romania.
