The Shanghai studio is integral to ZEEKR Design’s global evolution, providing key insights from the dynamic Chinese market. It aims to deliver diverse perspectives and ensure user-centric design solutions for the world’s largest electric vehicle market.
Stefan Sielaff, VP of Global Design at Geely Auto Group, emphasizes the studio’s significance in navigating China’s automotive landscape and staying innovative. The Shanghai studio is located within ZEEKR’s Shanghai R&D center and facilitates tighter communication and understanding of local nuances.
Javier Garcia-Gallardo, currently heading ZEEKR A.R.T Design in Sweden, will lead the Shanghai studio. With a distinguished career and global perspective, Javier is committed to maintaining ZEEKR’s Design values of collaboration, transparency, and trust.
