The BaaS provider will integrate its swapping technology with Motovolt’s M7 scooters with plans to roll out 15,000 vehicles by end-2026.
Yuma Energy, a battery-as-a-service provider, said it has partnered with Motovolt Mobility to deploy battery-swappable electric scooters for fleet operations across India, as the two companies look to address key barriers to EV adoption such as range anxiety and high battery costs.
Under the partnership, Motovolt’s multi-utility electric scooter M7 will be integrated with Yuma Energy battery swapping technology.
The companies plan to roll out 15,000 M7 scooters for fleet use by the end of 2026, targeting delivery and shared mobility operators that require high vehicle uptime.
