Tenways unveils its Ago Compact Performance e-bike, which combines Tenways’ refined aesthetics and compact design with the power of the Bosch system.
The Ago Compact is the brand’s most powerful e-bike ever, a versatile urban companion, easy to transport and store even in small spaces.
It is the first Tenways e-bike equipped with Bosch. The development represents a significant step forward for the brand, combining higher performance with the core principles that have defined its range to date: rider-centric design, refined lines, and a competitive price-to-quality ratio.

The Ago Compact Performance integrates the Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor, delivering 75 Nm of torque, paired with a 545 Wh battery that supports rides of up to 100 km.
The system is designed to ensure consistent assistance across different riding conditions, from daily commutes to longer urban routes and moderate gradients. Control is managed through an intuitive colour display and handlebar-mounted remotes, supported by responsive sensors that optimise power delivery.
The drivetrain combines a Shimano Nexus 5 internal gear hub with a Gates CDX carbon belt drive. This configuration prioritises durability and low maintenance, while enabling smooth shifting and efficient power transfer. The absence of a traditional chain reduces noise and eliminates the need for lubrication, making it particularly suitable for frequent, everyday use.
Compact & Convenient – Fits Anywhere, for Anyone
Designed for dense urban environments, the compact frame incorporates practical features aimed at simplifying storage and transport. The Byschulz Speedlifter stem allows the handlebar to rotate quickly, while foldable pedals and an integrated carry handle enhance portability. At the same time, the step-through frame and adjustable cockpit accommodate a wide range of riders, supporting both individual and shared use.
With 20-inch tyres, the bike maintains a balance between manoeuvrability and stability, offering responsive handling in traffic without sacrificing comfort. Additional components, including a suspension seatpost, integrated lighting, hydraulic disc brakes and an MIK HD rear carrier, contribute to a functional setup suited to everyday mobility.

Pricing and Availability
The Tenways Ago Compact Performance is immediately available in three finishes (Autumn Red, Midnight Blue, Sandstone Beige) and selected authorised retailers.
The recommended retail price is € 2,999 Standard European Price, SEK 35,900 in Sweden, DKK 24,600 in Denmark, CHF 3,099 in Switzerland and €3,299 in Finland. An early bird discount of € 200 will be offered for orders placed between April 14 and April 27.
