Tailg Technology Group was established in 2003 in Shenzhen, with a mission to “Adhere to technological innovation to provide better travel for users around the world”.

After years of development, Tailg has evolved into a group company integrating R&D, production, sales, sharing, charging, and battery swapping of electric two- and three-wheelers with comprehensive industry chains. Currently, Tailg has 10 global R&D and manufacturing bases in Huizhou, Dongguan, Wuxi, Tianjin,  Chongqing, Guigang, Xuzhou, Vietnam, and Indonesia, with an annual production capacity exceeding 15 million units, more than 35,000 stores worldwide, serving over 45 million users. Its products are exported to more than 90 countries and regions, are deeply loved by consumers around the world.

Tailg adheres to technological innovation and development, and has established top-tier R&D centers such as the national CNAS laboratory, the Global E-mobility Programme Research Institute, and the only “National Quality Training Base” in the industry. Tailg is recognized as national-level high-tech enterprise and high-tech enterprise in Shenzhen.

Tailg holds over 1000 patents in different fields, including core technologies for energy-saving electric two-wheelers. These patents range from initial design patents and utility model patents to five major invention patents. Tailg’s positioning spans from the first-generation “high-performance electric vehicles” to “fully automatic electric vehicles” and “high-efficiency electric vehicles”, and from “energy-saving electric vehicles” to “long-range electric vehicles”. It is also an active participant in formulating national industry standards.

As a global trailblazer in long-range electric two-wheelers, the group owns brands such as Tailing, Tailg, and TLG. Among them, Tailg has set numerous world records, even accompanying the national mountaineering team to the top of Mount Everest. It was then included in the CCTV National Brand Plan, leading the sales in long-range electric vehicles.

The dream of globalization is a key growth engine for Tailg Group. As a UN electric mobility partner and a strategic partner of the Belt and Road Initiative, Tailg has been collaborating with the United Nations Environment Programme since 2019 to actively promote the concept of global low-carbon mobility and new energy solutions. Over the years, Tailg has implemented projects in Kenya, Uganda, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other countries, and has signed a contract to become the industry’s sole UN electric two-wheeler procurement unit, laying a crucial foundation for its globalization journey.

Facing the vast opportunities in the overseas electric mobility market, Tailg Group launched its globalization strategy in 2023 with the ambitious goal of “achieving fivefold growth in five years and creating another Tailg abroad”. By implementing a global integration strategy across branding, R&D, production, and sales, Tailg has rapidly established benchmark markets in Vietnam and Indonesia, using these markets as models to expand across Southeast Asia and beyond. To enhance its international presence, Tailg has introduced the new TLG brand at the EICMA in Italy, established the Global E-Mobility Programme Research Institute, built a high-end digital factory, and developed a Vietnam manufacturing base covering 40,000 square meters with an annual production capacity of 350,000 vehicles. This comprehensive approach is setting new standards for Chinese corporate brands venturing abroad.

Tailg actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility and promotes global low-carbon mobility. By establishing the self-funded “LING Fund,” Tailg has been committed to its Dream Charity initiatives in education, philanthropy, and environmental protection since 2012.
