Model 3, the first Tesla’s mass-market electric vehicle

Designed and built as first mass-market electric vehicle, Model 3 it’s a critical step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Like every Tesla vehicle, Model 3 combines range, performance, safety and technology. Intelligent design maximizes interior space to comfortably fit five adults and all of their gear. The high-efficiency powertrain provides zero to 100 km/h acceleration in as little as 3.7 seconds.

In the U.S., the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently awarded Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive with a 5-star safety rating in every category and sub-category.

Combined with 346* to 499 kilometers of range and a starting price of $35,000 before incentives, Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable vehicle yet.

Model 3 is currently in production, and deliveries to employee reservation holders began on July 28, 2017 at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, CA. Deliveries will begin in Europe during the first half 2019.
