The new e-MTBs designed by Fantic to redefine off-road performance are called Sierra and Ridge: two complementary projects in carbon and aluminum.
Fantic Bikes enters a new phase in the e-MTB segment with the launch of Sierra and Ridge, two complementary platforms in carbon and aluminium engineered to reshape the off-road riding experience. At the heart of both projects lies the integration of the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5, configurable up to 120 Nm, representing a major leap forward in power delivery, responsiveness and efficiency.
Sierra focuses on precision, control and advanced geometry for the most technical trails, while Ridge delivers strength and versatility with an ideal balance between performance and accessibility. Two distinct interpretations, united by the same goal: taking off-road performance and riding enjoyment to the next level.
This marks the beginning of a new era for Fantic Bikes. A tangible evolution driven by technological innovation, engineering development and long-term strategic vision, embodied in two new e-MTB platforms designed to redefine the off-road experience: Sierra and Ridge.
Two different identities — one carbon, one aluminium — created for riders who refuse to compromise between agility, control and power. Platforms developed to suit different riding styles, yet sharing a common ambition: pushing trail fun beyond its limits.
At the core of this evolution is a key innovation: the integration of the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5, now configurable up to 120 Nm of torque. A generational step that redefines benchmarks in power, responsiveness and efficiency, elevating Fantic e-MTBs to a new performance level.
Fantic Sierra
Lightweight, progressive and precise, Fantic Sierra is the platform designed for riders seeking maximum control without sacrificing reactivity, even on the most demanding trails. The project is built around completely redesigned geometry, evolving the Fantic DNA while preserving its unmistakable identity.
A standout feature is the Cobra Design, the brand’s exclusive frame architecture that optimises stiffness in key areas, ensuring stability and precision even in the most challenging riding conditions.
With 160 mm of front travel and 155 mm at the rear, the suspension system delivers confidence and smoothness on technical descents and rough terrain. The Flip Chip system allows quick geometry adjustment, switching from a 29” rear wheel to 27.5” without compromising overall balance. This enables riders to set up a mullet configuration — a larger front wheel paired with a smaller rear wheel — improving control and traction on technical sections.
Among the most significant technical solutions is the coaxial Horst link at the rear wheel, which separates braking forces from suspension movement. This allows the suspension to remain active even under braking, keeping the rear wheel better planted and significantly improving grip and stability.
The new Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5, with torque adjustable up to 120 Nm, delivers powerful and immediate assistance, ideal for steep climbs and repeated accelerations. Range is provided by an 800 Wh battery, expandable with a 250 Wh range extender for longer rides.
The Sierra range is available in Sport, Race and Factory specifications. The Sport version comes with SRAM drivetrains and, from September, will also be available with Shimano.
Available in Artic White and Vulcanic Bronze.

Fantic Ridge
Strong, versatile and built to perform in every condition, Fantic Ridge represents the aluminium soul of Fantic’s new e-MTB range. Developed to deliver high-level performance while maintaining a careful balance between quality and accessibility.
The frame, shared by both available configurations, features the Cobra Design to ensure rigidity and precise handling even on technical terrain. The variable-thickness down tube, reinforced around the head tube area, further increases torsional stiffness, while the redesigned seat tube provides greater freedom of movement and improved comfort on descents.
Two configurations are available:
- All Mountain, with 170 mm of travel, designed for the most demanding trails
- Trail, with 150 mm of travel, offering a more balanced and versatile setup
Ridge is also equipped with the new Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5, capable of delivering up to 120 Nm of torque, allowing riders to tackle steep climbs and technical terrain with confidence.
Both versions are available in Sport and Race trims, featuring SRAM drivetrains: Eagle 70 for Sport versions, Eagle 90 for the Trail Race, and the electronic SRAM GX AXS group for the All Mountain Race. Component choices follow a clear philosophy: achieving the ideal balance between performance, reliability and cost.
