At EICMA 2024, Tailg premiered the all-new S96Max, a high-end electric vehicle engineered to redefine a fun and sustainable riding experience.
Alongside the S96Max, Tailg presented its entire range of cutting-edge electric motorcycles, featuring a lineup of 12 additional models.
Founded in Shenzhen in 2003, the Tailg Group specializes in two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles, offering a full spectrum of services including R&D, manufacturing, sales, charging, and battery swapping. With ten production sites, the brand boasts an annual capacity of over 15 million vehicles and a network of more than 35000 retail points worldwide; today, Tailg’s products reach over 90 countries, serving more than 45 million global users.
S96Max: Ushering in a new era of electric motorcycle performance
Officially launched on November 6, S96Max represents over two decades of research and development, standing as Tailg’s most advanced model to date. Equipped with an integrated three-in-one powertrain, the Star Ring Strong Magnetic Motor, this new system merges the motor, transmission, and electronic control into a single compact design using an axial flux structure that achieves 95% efficiency.
According to data, the S96Max delivers a peak power of 15,000W, offering a 13.5% improvement in overall range and a 108% boost in energy recovery efficiency while reducing motor size and weight by 50%. The S96Max reaches a top speed of 120 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, setting a new benchmark in the electric two-wheeler segment. With a peak power of 15,000 W, this model ensures high performance, enhanced lightness, and extended range compared to conventional hub motors. Tailg’s technology integration further enhances energy recovery, up to 108%, optimizing motor weight and space efficiency.
Beyond its impressive performance, the S96Max redefines fast charging with the Nebula Fast Charging System: through a customized station, its ultra-fast charging system powers up to 80% in just 10 minutes at 20 kW, thanks to technology specifically designed for two-wheel mobility. This innovation reduces both downtime and production costs.
Additionally, the model comes equipped with an array of intelligent features, including a TFT smart dashboard with multi-screen interaction, 55W wireless charging, and 1080P HD front and rear cameras—offering a new option for users seeking a premium mobility experience.
Tailg also showcased 12 other flagship models in its extensive range, all EEC-certified, from high-performance electric motorcycles and sporty enduros to urban and cargo models.
In October, the urban model F55 received over 5,000 orders at the Canton Fair, highlighting its success. This momentum continues at EICMA 2024, with a lineup already certified for the European market, including the off-road series Y1, Y3, and Y5.
