Formula E arrives in Monaco this weekend for the ninth and tenth races of Season 12, and history says Buemi is the King of Monte Carlo with three victories.

The Swiss driver won the first two editions, when the race was still held on the short circuit that ran only around the Monte Carlo harbor, both times with e.Dams Renault. Buemi’s third win was last year, when he won Race 2 with Envision Racing… and so far, it was Sébastien Buemi’s last victory in Formula E.
The victories in the other six editions were shared among six drivers: Jean Eric Vergne, Antonio Felix Da Costa, Stoffel Vandoorne, Nick Cassidy, Mitch Evans, and Oliver Rowland.
Formula E ran the first three editions of the Monaco E-Prix on the short circuit, while starting in Season 7 (2020-2021), the race began on the long circuit, which extends beyond the harbor area and up toward the Monte Carlo Casino.
Last year, a double-header race was held for the first time, a format that will be repeated this time.
