Kiro Race Co, the newest team to join the Formula E grid, is thrilled to announce that Simona De Silvestro will be joining the team for the upcoming Formula E Women’s Test.
Simona De Silvestro’s remarkable career has spanned Formula E, IndyCar, and Australian Supercars, earning her the distinction of being the only woman to score points in Formula E. A pioneer and trailblazer, Simona has continually broken barriers, providing an inspiring example for women in sport and paving the way for future generations of aspiring drivers. Her role as a former Porsche works driver further underscores her exceptional skill and versatility.
Not only is Simona pushing limits on the racetrack, but she’s also embracing an entirely new challenge: the 2026 Winter Olympics. She has recently joined the Italian National Team in bobsleigh, with aspirations of competing in the women’s Olympic bob events in Milan/Cortina. Her dedication to excellence in both motorsport and bobsleigh demonstrates her relentless pursuit of new heights in sport. Simona will head straight to the Formula E test in Valencia from Sigulda, Latvia, where she is training with the Italian National Team for the upcoming bobsleigh season.

The Women’s Test takes place on Thursday, the 7th of November, in Valencia and will be the last time the team runs its cars ahead of the opening round of Season 11 on the 7th of December in Sao Paulo.
