The ECOdolomitesGT 2024 ended with the award ceremony in the late evening of Sunday 17 November in Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, in the province of Trento, Italy.
The regularity and consumption e-rally, organized by the Automobile Club of Trento with RaceBioConcept – BioDrive Academy and the support of ECOmove – valid for the International Bridgestone FIA Eco Rally Cup 2024 and for the Italian Alternative Energy Championship – ACI Sport eRally Trophy, took place on roads open to traffic.

The route of 465 kilometers in total, divided into four sectors, included a maximum of about 230 kilometers between one recharge and another for electric cars. There were 19 special stages for a total of about 250 kilometres, during which the drivers had to try their hand at maintaining the average specifications imposed by the regulations, measured to the tenth of a second, consuming as little as possible. In fact, the competition, in addition to rewarding the skill of the competitors in respecting the times and routes imposed by the road-book, also recognizes the goodness of the driving style which, combined with the technological efficiency of the car, makes up the performance index valid for the assignment of scores.
Fuel consumption – explains Fiorenzo Dalmeri, President of the Automobile Club of Trento, the organiser of ECOdolomitesGT 2024 – has been deducted by means of innovative remote sensing, applying a special FIA formula that also takes into account the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) homologation performance of each registered car.
The itinerary, starting and finishing in the Trentino town of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, with the Pale di San Martino dominating the scenery, touched suggestive corners of the Dolomites in Trentino, Veneto and Alto-Adige, crossing several passes and crossing some of the in addition to Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, Mezzano di Primiero, Imer, Canal San Bovo, Passo Rolle, Passo Gobbera, Passo Brocon, Pedavena, Sagron Mis, Predazzo, Moena, Canazei, Passo Sella, Ortisei, Selva di Valgardena, Corvara, Falcade, Agordo, Passo Cereda, Passo Valles, Passo Campolongo, with a fundamental stage in Ortisei, in Alto-Adige, managed in collaboration with ECOmove.
The crews were able to test the performance of the cars on particularly demanding routes such as mountain ones and with low temperatures. All the electric cars in the race guaranteed excellent performance, facing differences in height, travel and charging times without problems.

On the top step of the podium of the ECOdolomitesGT 2024 were the Italian Guido Guerrini and the Polish Artur Prusak, of the Italian Team “Autotest Motorsport – Gass Racing” on Kia e-Niro, who finished first in the combined regularity and consumption classification valid for the International Championship. Second place went to Franko Špacapan and Sebastjan Kobal, “MAHLE Racing Team Slovenia” in a Hyundai Kona. The third step of the podium went to the Czechs Michal Zdarsky and Jakub Nábělek of the ACCR Czech Hyundai Team, also in Hyundai Kona.

Thanks to this result, Guido Guerrini and Artur Prusak confirmed their second place in the conclusion of the International Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup, preceded by the Czechs Zdarsky – Nábělek, with the Bulgarian Kalin Dedikov, also present at the ECOdolomitesGT 2024, confirmed third in the international cup, together with his historical navigator: the Bulgarian Georgi Pavlov.
The Czech crew of Michal Zdarsky and Jakub Nábělek won the 2024 FIA ecoRally Cup Bridgestone International Cup Championship.
As for the specific consumption classification according to the FIA’s energy performance index, it ended with a victory for the Italian-Polish crew Guerrini-Prusak, followed by the Czechs Zdarsky-Nabelek and the Slovenians Špacapan-Kobal.
With reference to the specific regularity classification, the Guerrini-Prusak crew finished first, Špacapan – Kobal second and the other Slovenians Makarovič-Špapacan third.
The race also awarded points for the Italian Alternative Energy Championship – ACI Sport eRally Trophy, seeing the crew composed of Matteo Rigamonti and Matteo Cairoli of the Scuderia Del Lario first overall, second Angelo Lucio Cavallari with his daughter Francesca, entered as “Pane & Rally – RaceBioConcept Team” and third the TER (Tour European Rally) Champion and Italian Women’s Rally Champion Rachele Somaschini, navigated by Mattia Pedraglio, both entered under the colors of the RS Team.
The award ceremony was also attended by the president of the Automobile Club of Trento Fiorenzo Dalmeri and the Councillor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza Mariangela Zanetel representing the Municipality and the Community of Primiero, together with the international and national FIA and ACI-Sport delegations. The event was attended by other well-known exponents of the world of communication, rallying and ecorally.
