Lojo Ev is establishing a comprehensive operating system and product chain, along with engineering support, for the assembly of Lojo EVs in international markets.
Lojo provides the capability to assemble vehicles from detached parts, essentially starting from scratch, thereby circumventing the customs duties levied by numerous countries on Chinese EVs.
The assembly list comprises over 100 components that must be affixed to the base car body.
All components are meticulously cataloged with detailed instructions on the assembly process, akin to the step-by-step guidance provided for assembling IKEA furniture.
The parts are dispatched with an instructional manual for each package, and remote video assistance is available to facilitate assembly, even for workers lacking prior experience in automobile assembly.
The time required to assemble a Lojo quadricycle L7e from a CKD state is a maximum of 20 hours, which can be reduced to 10 hours as workers become more proficient.
Prices are competitive with those of fully assembled vehicles shipped abroad, not only due to customs duty considerations but also because of the ability to store more vehicles in a single container, thereby decreasing the per-unit transportation cost.
