Mostruoso dragster elettrico presentato a Detroit

Detroit, Michigan. 12 Gennaio 2016. “Panic in Detroit” è il nome del post di oggi per ovvie ragioni.

Costruito da John Metric di Lonestar EV Performance, il “Panic in Detroit” è un dragster di recente costruzione che deve ancora fare i suoi primi passi e lasciare il segno nella storia NEDRA (National Electric Drag Racing Association – l’Associazione americana dei dragster elettrici).

Costruito per raggiungere la velocità di 200 mph (320 km/h) in meno di 7 secondi, si tratta di un “telaio Joe Monden 2002” Top Dragster equipaggiato con quattro motori elettrici Netgain da 9” e quattro controller Zilla 2K-EHV per un potenziale 8000 A.

Lonestar EV Performance ha sviluppato le batterie e la trasmissione.

Lo scopo è di attirare le case automobilistiche alla Detroit Panic. Il dragster dovrebbe scendere in pista nel 2016.

“Panic in Detroit” is the name of today’s posting for obvious reasons.

Built by John Metric of Lonestar EV Performance, the “Panic in Detroit” rail dragster is recently constructed and has yet to make it’s mark in NEDRA history.

Built to go after the sub 7 second/200 mph mark. It is a 240″ Joe Monden 2002 Top Dragster chassis utilizing four Netgain 9″ motors and four Zilla 2K-EHV motor controllers for an 8000A potential.

Lonestar EV Performance Battery and Transmission. Meant to make the car companies in Detroit Panic. Hitting the tracks in 2016.
