Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. 13th June 2017. Romande Energie, the No. 1 electricity distributor in French-speaking Switzerland, and Green Motion, the Swiss leader in charging infrastructures, have joined together and are launching an important collaboration in the growth area of electric mobility.
Though different in size and lines of business, the two companies from the Vaud share the same values: a responsible approach, proximity to the clientele, and a strong interest in future technologies.
Romande Energie, with a history spanning 130 years, was receptive to positioning truly geared to the future, to a range of promising products, and ultimately to the local production policy of the young technology company from Mont-sur-Lausanne.
A denser charging network
Thanks to the complete range of services provided by Romande Energie Services SA, a new group operating since the beginning of the year, Romande Energie responds to all the needs of public bodies, companies and individuals in the energy services sector. The electric mobility solutions perfectly complete the current range of photovoltaic and solar thermal panels, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical installations.
Launched in June 2016, “evpass”, the national public charging network set up by Green Motion, is used by more than 4,000 people in Switzerland. At present it has 442 charging stations; it will pass the 500 mark in July and the 1,000 mark by the end of the year.
