Farnborough, Gran Bretagna. 23 May, 2016. BMW UK estende il suo programma di vernici esterne del modello BMW i8 con una vasta gamma di nuovi colori. Come parte della collezione BMW Individual, i clienti saranno in grado di scegliere tra una moltitudine di vernici eccezionali che non solo integra lo stile della BMW i8 ma riflette anche lo stile personale del cliente.

I nuovi colori sono: Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue e Grigio Telesto Pearl per citarne solo alcuni.

Una varietà di finiture non metalliche, metalliche o Xirallic sono anche disponibili, che utilizzano una miscela di fiocchi di mica o alluminio sintetico per produrre effetti scintillanti.

Ancora più sorprendente è la finitura opaca della vernice ghiaccio che ha un luccichio unico, rendendo i contorni della BMW i8 ancora più evidenti e sottolineando il carattere scultoreo della vettura. L’aggiunta del nuovo programma di vernice BMW Individual per la BMW i8 segue il successo dei primi ordini per l’edizione limitata Protonic rosso ed è su misura per il Regno Unito.

Con oltre 1.400 BMW i8 vendute nel Regno Unito a partire dal lancio nel 2014, la BMW i8 è andata sempre più rafforzandosi, raccogliendo numerosi riconoscimenti lungo la strada tra cui Top Gear dell’anno nel 2014, Auto dell’anno nel Regno Unito nel 2015 e Green Award World Car per citarne alcuni.

Con la sua propulsione ibrida intelligente, la i8 vanta una potenza di 362 hp e può percorrere fino a 23 miglia in modalità solo elettrica (37 km).

Farnborough, UK. 23 May, 2016. BMW UK is extending its program of exterior paint finishes for the BMW i8 model with an extensive array of new colours.

As part of the BMW Individual collection, customers will be able to choose from a multitude of extraordinary paint finishes which not only complements the BMW i8s styling but also reflects the personal style of the customer.

The new colours include: Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue and Grigio Telesto Pearl to name just a few.

A variety of finishes are available including non-metallic, metallic or Xirallic, which uses a mixture of synthetic mica or aluminium flakes to produce scintillating effects.

Even more striking is the matt finish of the frozen paintwork which has a unique shimmer, making the contours of the BMW i8 even more striking and underlining the sculptural character of the vehicle. The addition of the new BMW Individual paint programme for the BMW i8 follows the success of the early orders for the Protonic Red limited edition and is bespoke to the UK.
