BYD officially launched its full electric sedan Seal in Brazil, organizing an event that was witnessed by nearly 200 local media outlets and journalists.
The BYD Seal is a masterpiece of BYD’s e-Platform 3.0. It is also the world’s first mass-produced vehicle featuring the CTB (cell-to-body) Technology, achieving breakthroughs in safety, handling, and efficiency. The BYD Seal boasts a pure electric cruising range of up to 520 km under WLTC conditions.

Not only is BYD introducing a range of all-electric and hybrid models to the Brazilian market, but it is also continuously expanding its sales and service network in Brazil, with plans to set up 100 stores by the year’s close.
Previously, BYD, in collaboration with the Bahia government, confirmed plans to establish a large production complex consisting of three factories in Camaçari, slated to commence production by 2025.
BYD aims to accelerate the penetration of new energy vehicles in the Brazilian market, offering local consumers a superior experience and supporting Brazil’s journey towards sustainable development.

Daß der BYD Seal ab nächstem Jahr auch in Brasilien montiert wird, finde ich sehr gut. So kann das Auto für Deutschland aus Brasilien bestellt werden, damit die Sonderzölle auf E-Autos aus China nicht anfallen. Wenn die heimische Industrie mit preisgünstigen elektrischen Mittelklasse- und Kleinwagen nicht nachgekommen ist und die E-Autos aus China nun teilweise wegbleiben, wie sollen wir die Klima-Erwärmung runterfahren? Die Politik hätte erstmal auf die heimischen Hersteller einwirken müssen, sich schneller umzustellen. Aber in Deutschland ist es üblich, erst dann zu handeln wenn das Kind schon in den Brunnen gefallen ist!

Penso che sia molto positivo che BYD Seal venga assemblata anche in Brasile a partire dal prossimo anno. L’auto per la Germania può essere ordinata dal Brasile, quindi non si applicano le tariffe speciali per le auto elettriche dalla Cina. Se l’industria nazionale non riesce a tenere il passo con le auto elettriche di fascia media e piccole a basso costo e alcune auto elettriche provenienti dalla Cina stanno scomparendo, come potremmo ridurre il riscaldamento globale? I politici avrebbero dovuto innanzitutto influenzare i produttori nazionali affinché si adattassero più rapidamente. Ma in Germania è consuetudine agire solo quando i buoi sono scappati!!!
