BYD launches its vehicles in Estonian market

BYD has officially launched its range of vehicles in Estonia in partnership with the Estonian Company Inchcape Motors that allows the new step in its expansion across Europe.

Estonian customers are now able to experience BYD’s range of exciting new-energy vehicles (NEVs) – pure electric and plug-in hybrid DM-i – at a pair of retail stores, located in Tallinn and Tartu. Additional outlets will be added in due course.

The initial line-up starts with the compact-yet-practical Atto 3, and includes the agile and versatile Dolphin hatchback, the dynamic Seal sedan, the Seal U SUV and the plug-in hybrid SEAL U DM-i, which can travel for more than 1,000 kilometres on a fully charged battery and a full tank of petrol.

The flagship for BYD’s Estonian debut is the Sealion 7, a dramatic high-performance all-electric SUV. Equipped with a Blade Battery and pioneering Cell-to-body construction, and featuring the world’s highest-speed electric motor in mass production, the Sealion 7 has up to 390 KW of power for a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.5 seconds. It can travel up to 502 km on a single charge (WLTP combined), and recharge at speeds of up to 230 KW, allowing a 10% to 80% refill in as little as 24 minutes.
