Zeekr has developed the new Zeekr Places app that offers a smart, intuitive time-saving way to help customers find the things they want while driving, making every journey simpler.
Seamlessly integrated within the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, Zeekr Places uses world-first location-based technology from 4screen to offer drivers real-time, contextual information about their surrounding environment.
Branded Pins are shown on the central HD touchscreen. They are highly recognizable and make it easier for customers to find essential day-to-day services along their route. Such services include charging stations, car parks, and promotions at their favourite restaurants and stores. When customers tap a Branded Pin, a pop-up menu shows detailed information about the place, including opening hours and the discounts on offer. With another tap, the navigation system can direct the driver to this location.
Zeekr Places also boasts a virtual tour guide, providing interactive, curated tours that highlight key landmarks, historical insights, local attractions, and hidden gems to enrich travel experiences – and saves users the time and effort of researching and planning the tour.

Zeekr Places is offered to European customers. Data are collected, stored, and processed as required by applicable law. The app was first made available to customers in the Netherlands and Sweden via an over-the-air (OTA) software update and is the latest cutting-edge feature within the Zeekr 001’s and Zeekr X’s intelligent, 5G-enabled digital cockpits.
The smart infotainment systems already offer connected features and a truly immersive user experience. Moreover, they can be OTA upgraded, and will always be up-to-date as more features are becoming available. Innovations such as Zeekr Places are built on top of Zeekr’s state-of-the-art technologies including augmented reality head-up displays and the AI-powered Zeekr voice assistant.
