Londra, Gran Bretagna. 26 maggio 2016. Continuando la celebrazione di lunga data del rapporto di Formula E con la musica, la serie accoglie una varietà di musicisti di talento per celebrare il ritorno di Formula E a Londra il 2 e 3 Luglio al Battersea Park, per suonare dal vivo nel Formula E Live Music Stage presentata da Visa.

Formula E e VISA Europe hanno lavorato in collaborazione con talent scout e le etichette discografiche per trovare sei dei più freschi interpreti dalla musica elettronica, indie e pop per esibirsi nelle ultime due gare del campionato FIA Formula E 2015/16.

Formula E Music, presentata da VISA, offre la possibilità per questi artisti emergenti selezionati di sfruttare la vasta piattaforma globale che entrambi i marchi hanno da offrire, catapultando la loro musica alle masse.

Sam Cannon, Capo di Formula E Music, ha detto:

“Il nostro obiettivo è sempre stato quello di mescolare il motorsport con la musica, facendo appello ad una nuova generazione di fan. Formula E è l’intrattenimento del futuro ed includere questi fantastici artisti solisti e band è un piacere assoluto. Speriamo di poter dare loro la piccola iniezione di visibilità di cui hanno bisogno per proiettare la loro musica su scala mondiale”.

“Siamo felici di far parte della strategia di Formula E Music per il Londra VISA ePrix. La combinazione di questo con la piattaforma eSports che presenteremo alle corse, oltre a dare ai fan contenuti unici nel giorno tramite la nostra VISA Fan radio, pensiamo veramente che VISA aiuterà a fornire un incredibile esperienza a 360° di intrattenimento a tutti gli appassionati che frequenteranno il 2 e 3 Luglio”.

Per supportare le esibizioni dal vivo, Formula E rilascerà un EP con una pista da ogni solista o band, in mostra al mondo per promuovere le stelle nascenti del futuro. L’EP sarà disponibile per il download e lo streaming su Spotify, iTunes e altri DSP dal 1° luglio in concomitanza con le gare di Londra, e ci sarà un’offerta speciale per i clienti VISA. Questo sarà il primo di una serie di EP dove Formula E permetterà la presentazione di talenti in anteprima locale in ogni città ospitante.

Sabato vedrà spettacoli dalla BBC che introdurrà ‘Record of the Week’ il duo Chimes e Lester Clayton che sono rinomati per la loro politica spiritosa. A completare la seratà ci sarà LOOP, che è appena esploso su Spotify con oltre 350k di streaming.

Domenica offre produttore preferito di Ellie Goulding, Draper, Glastonbury suonerà Ellie Rose e il giovane Luke Carey. Draper ha avuto uno straordinario successo on-line dal suo primo EP del 2010, Ellie porta un sorriso ai volti di tutti come una delle migliori femmine cantanti/cantautrici del momento e l’amore di Luke per suonare dal vivo garantirà una prestazione incredibile.

Formula E Music presented by VISA offers global platform for upcoming UK artists

London, UK. May 26 2016. Continuing the celebration of Formula E’s long-standing relationship with music, the series welcomes a variety of talented musicians to celebrate Formula E’s return to London on July 2 & 3 at Battersea Park, to perform on the Formula E Live Music Stage presented by Visa.

Formula E and Visa Europe have worked in conjunction with talent scouts and record labels to find six of the freshest upcoming acts from indie, pop and electronic music, to perform at the final two rounds of the 2015/16 FIA Formula E Championship.

Formula E Music, presented by Visa, offers the chance for these selected emerging artists to take advantage of the extensive global platform both brands have to offer, catapulting their music to the masses.

Sam Cannon, Head of Music at Formula E, said:

“Our aim has always been to mix motorsport with music, appealing to a new generation of fans. Formula E is the entertainment of the future, and to include these fantastic solo artists and bands is an absolute pleasure. We hope we can give them that little injection they need to get their music out there on a worldwide scale.”

To support the live performances, Formula E will be releasing an EP featuring a track from each of the acts, showcasing to the world the rising stars of the future. The EP will be available to download and stream on Spotify, iTunes and other DSPs from July 1 to coincide with the London races, and will provide a special offer to Visa customers. This will be the first EP in a series where Formula E will be presenting local upcoming talent in each host city.

Saturday will see performances from BBC introducing ‘Record of the Week’ duo Chimes, and Lester Clayton who are renowned for their witty politics. Completing the bill will be LOOP, who has just exploded onto Spotify with over 350k streams already.
