Parigi, Francia. 26 Gennaio 2016. Come parte della strategia Open Innovation e in linea con l’impegno per rimanere all’avanguardia della ricerca automobilistica, PSA Peugeot Citroën è atto a rafforzare i legami con le migliori scuole post-laurea e università creando un OpenLab in Africa.

Il 25 gennaio, PSA Peugeot Citroën ha stipulato un accordo con cinque università marocchine, due università statunitensi con sedi in Marocco, uno su base locale nella scuola di ingegneria Ecole Centrale, e un centro di trasferimento tecnologico presso l’Università Internazionale di Rabat. L’accordo è stato firmato durante una cerimonia nella quale hanno partecipato il ministro dell’Istruzione Superiore e della Ricerca Scientifica del Marocco e l’ambasciatore francese in Marocco.

Il nuovo OpenLab, soprannominato “La mobilità sostenibile per l’Africa”, si impegnerà in un programma di ricerca di quattro anni per esplorare sistemi di mobilità sostenibile con tre punti da mettere a fuoco: il veicolo elettrico del futuro, le energie rinnovabili e la logistica del futuro.

Il programma sfrutterà l’esperienza scientifica e professionale di PSA Peugeot Citroën, la competenza delle università partner e un certo numero di piattaforme tecnologiche che saranno messi a disposizione di ricercatori in Marocco.

In questo modo, dopo estendere la sua organizzazione Science Technologies Exploratory Lean Laboratory (StelLab) in Europa, Asia e America Latina, PSA Peugeot Citroën rafforza la rete per coltivare stretti rapporti con i futuri hub scientifici.

Open Innovation a PSA Peugeot Citroën

PSA Peugeot Citroën ha adottato la strategia Open Innovation che qui comporta la costruzione e gestione delle relazioni con una varietà di ecosistemi – da individui e imprese verso il mondo accademico e le istituzioni.

Come quota di rapporto con l’ecosistema accademico, il Gruppo ha lanciato il StelLab Network nelle cattedre universitarie in OpenLabs nel 2010.

StelLab è stato progettato per rafforzare i partenariati con laboratori scientifici finanziati da PSA con fondi pubblici impegnati nella ricerca di punta.

Il OpenLab gestisce la rete in tutto il mondo per rispondere in modo più efficace alle sfide sociali, ambientali ed economiche associati alla “macchina del futuro”, beneficiando delle risorse umane e sperimentali condivise di PSA Peugeot Citroën e dei suoi laboratori partner.

Paris, France. January 26, 2016. As part of its Open Innovation strategy and in line with its commitment to staying on the leading edge of automotive research, PSA Peugeot Citroën is strengthening its ties with top post-graduate schools and universities by creating an OpenLab in Africa.

On 25 January, PSA Peugeot Citroën entered into an agreement with five Moroccan universities, two US universities with campuses in Morocco, one locally-based Ecole Centrale engineering school, and a technology transfer centre at the International University of Rabat. The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by Morocco’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the French Ambassador to Morocco.

The new OpenLab, dubbed “Sustainable Mobility for Africa”, will engage in a four-year research programme to explore sustainable mobility systems with three core focuses: the electric vehicle of the future, renewable energy and the logistics of the future. The programme will leverage PSA Peugeot Citroën’s scientific and professional expertise, the expertise of the partner universities and a number of technological platforms which will be made available to researchers in Morocco.

In this way, after deploying its Science Technologies Exploratory Lean Laboratory (StelLab) organisation in Europe, Asia and Latin America, PSA Peugeot Citroën is strengthening its network to nurture close relationships with future scientific hubs.

Open Innovation at PSA Peugeot Citroën

PSA Peugeot Citroën has adopted an Open Innovation strategy which entails building and managing relationships with a variety of ecosystems — from individuals and business to the academic world and institutions.

As part of its relationship with the academic ecosystem, the Group launched the StelLab network of OpenLabs and academic chairs in 2010.

StelLab is designed to strengthen PSA’s scientific partnerships with publicly-funded laboratories involved in leading-edge research.

The OpenLab network operates worldwide to respond more effectively to the societal, environmental and economic challenges associated with the “car of the future”, benefiting from the shared human and experimental resources of PSA Peugeot Citroën and its partner laboratories.
