Essex, Gran Bretagna. 9 Febbraio 2016. Tevva Motors ha ricevuto un encomio nella categoria Trasporti in occasione del Rushlight Awards per lo sviluppo dei suoi propulsori ecologici ad autonomia estesa.

Tenutasi a Londra, al Royal College of Surgeons di Inghilterra, Tevva è stata lodata per un risultato significativo “che ha portato allo sviluppo commerciale dei mezzi di trasporto da terra, mare o aria, con un conseguente significativo miglioramento dell’impatto ambientale”

L’encomio è stato annunciato alla cena dei prestigiosi premi e giudicato dai maggiori consulenti, investitori e analisti del settore. La premiazione si è svolta subito dopo il Rushlight Show, in cui Tevva ha esposto ai visitatori ed ai potenziali investitori.

L’ingegnere di Tevva hybrid systems, John Hankinson, era a rappresentare Tevva ad una lunga lista di persone chiave nel settore delle tecnologie sostenibili. L’evento è l’unico nel suo genere che punta a mostrare le principali tecnologie pulite che sono state sviluppate per affrontare un futuro diminuendo le risorse utilizzate.

Il powertrain elettrico range extender di Tevva può essere montato sia sulla linea di produzione durante il processo di assemblaggio oppure come pacchetto retrofit di un veicolo esistente. È controllato da innovativi Predictive Range Extender System di Gestione di Tevva (PREMS), che consente l’uso più efficiente del range extender, senza il contributo di conducente. In questo modo il range extender viene utilizzato solo in caso di necessità, come ad esempio sulle autostrade, mentre la propulsione solo elettrica può essere utilizzata in aree di scarsa qualità dell’aria, quali paesi e città.

Commendation recognises Tevva’s contribution to developing environmentally-friendly powertrains for the urban delivery market Awards provided key influencers and investors in sustainability and clean technology sectors opportunity to see latest developments from Tevva.

Tevva Motors has received a commendation in the Powered Transport Award category at the 2015-16 Rushlight Awards for the development of its environmentally-friendly, electric range extended powertrains.

Held at London’s Royal College of Surgeons of England, Tevva were commended for a significant achievement “that has resulted in the commercial development of forms of transport for land, sea or air, resulting in a significantly improved embedded environmental footprint.”

The commendation was announced at the prestigious awards dinner and judged by leading advisors, investors and analysts in the sector. The awards immediately succeeded the 2016 Rushlight Show, at which Tevva exhibited to visitors and potential investors.

Tevva’s Hybrid Systems Engineer, John Hankinson, was on hand to represent Tevva to a long list of key-influencers in the sustainable technologies sector. The event is the only one of its kind to showcase the leading clean technologies that have been developed to address a low resource future.

Tevva’s electric range extender powertrain can either be fitted on the production line during the build process  or as a retrofit package to an existing vehicle. It is controlled by Tevva’s innovative Predictive Range Extender Management System (PREMS), which enables the most efficient use of the range extender without driver input. This ensures the range extender is only used when necessary, such as on motorways, while electric-only propulsion can be used in areas of poor air quality such as towns and cities.
