Parigi, Francia. 15 Aprile 2016. Tre giorni prima del Parigi ePrix, la gara di Formula E intorno all’Hôtel des Invalides, il marchio DS sta organizzando uno spettacolo con una parata eccezionale per le strade della capitale francese.

L’attenzione sarà puntata sulle DSV-01, la monoposto elettrica che rappresenta il DS Virgin Racing nel FIA Formula E Championship, con il pilota del team Jean-Eric Vergne al volante. L’aggiunta di un ulteriore tocco elettrizzante a questo evento originale nel cuore di Parigi, la DS E-Tense, sarà anche presente. Ultima creazione del marchio, questo veicolo unico dotato di una trasmissione elettrica ad alte prestazioni incarna il futuro del marchio.

Mercoledì 20 aprile 2016, il marchio DS è pronto per elettrificare le strade di Parigi con una partenza della sfilata alle ore 11.00 di fronte al Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme e finendo alle 13:00 presso DS World Paris, a 33 rue François 1er.

Il marchio invita gli appassionati di motorsport e di auto, i passanti ed i parigini a scoprire due veicoli completamente elettrici originali: la DSV-01 e la DS E-Tense. Il primo veicolo fa il suo debutto a Parigi, mentre il secondo fa il suo debutto sulla strada. Un duo originale che di sicuro di provocherà scalpore sulle strade di Parigi.

“Con il marchio DS che festeggia il suo secondo anniversario nel giro di qualche settimana, l’ePrix di Parigi il 23 Aprile è un importante evento. Per noi, è particolarmente eccitante essere parte di questa corsa nel cuore di Parigi, dal momento che qui è dove il nostro marchio è nato. Il nostro coinvolgimento nel FIA Formula E Championship è coerente con lo spirito d’avanguardia di DS, che condividiamo con il pubblico. Godiamoci questo evento storico insieme”, ha detto il CEO DS. DSV-01: L’auto di Formula E del team DS Virgin Racing

Dopo la sua prima apparizione ufficiale al Salone di Francoforte nel settembre 2015, la monoposto elettrica DSV-01 che rappresenta il team DS Virgin Racing, ha viaggiato in tutto il mondo come parte del FIA Formula E Championship, dall’Asia all’America Latina e dagli Stati Uniti verso l’Europa. Oggi, è a Parigi per competere nel prossimo ePrix il Sabato 23 aprile 2016, all’Hôtel des Invalides.

DSV-01 è il risultato della collaborazione tra Virgin Racing e DS Automobili. Il marchio ha lavorato allo sviluppo del veicolo attraverso la sua divisione motorsport, DS Performance, gestito da Xavier Mestelan Pinon. Gli ingegneri della marca lavorato sulla trasmissione (e-motore / riduttore / regolatore) e sul sistema di raffreddamento, la sospensione posteriore e la trasmissione. Più che un laboratorio di R&S, DS Performance è una vetrina dell’esperienza e l’avanguardia tecnologica della mentalità del marchio DS.

DS E-Tense: un’unica, elettrizzante, vettura ad alte prestazioni per un futuro reale

Rivelata a marzo al Salone di Ginevra, la DS E-Tense è l’ultima creazione del marchio. La DS E-Tense abbina la realizzazione artigianale degna dei più importanti marchi di lusso di Francia con l’uso di strumenti digitali. E’ unica in termini di progettazione esterna e di sensazioni di guida: un mix di lusso, tecnologia d’avanguardia e prestazioni avanzate. Riflettendo la visione del marchio sia in termini di tecnologia e stile, quest’auto stradale d’avanguardia fissa i punti per il futuro con una trasmissione elettrica di prestazioni eccezionali.

Solo poche parole e figure indicano il tono di questo ultimo veicolo DS: 516Nm, il silenzio, 402bhp, zero emissioni di gas serra, 4.72m di lunghezza e 1.29m di altezza. Un veicolo unico che unisce la tecnologia avanzata con la raffinatezza.

E’ a Parigi, sede del marchio, che DS E-Tense farà il suo debutto e andrà incontro ai parigini.

Mercoledì 20 aprile, una parata originale attraverso le strade di Parigi

Vicino alla Place Vendôme, di fronte al Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, la DSV-01 e la DS E-Tense faranno scattare il loro primo tour di Parigi, facendo un giro nel cuore della città. Un tour eccezionale della città, passando dall’ Opera House e il Louvre, prima di percorrere la riva sinistra della Senna fino alla Torre Eiffel. Da lì, saranno tornate tramite la riva destra della Senna, oltre il Grand Palais, per terminare il loro tour al DS World di Parigi, il flagship store del marchio, al n° 33 di rue François 1er.

Per consentire al pubblico di avere uno sguardo più da vicino a queste vetture, sono previste due fermate, la prima davanti alla Piramide del Louvre e la seconda a Trocadéro. Queste fermate offriranno anche una grande opportunità per il pubblico di incontrare Jean-Eric Vergne, che sarà al volante della DSV-01. Uno dei due piloti del team Virgin Racing DS, che attualmente partecipa al FIA Formula E Championship.

Il francese Jean-Eric Vergne è molto entusiasta per l’imminente Paris ePrix: “E’ la gara che ho aspettato per questa stagione. Non avrei mai immaginato che un giorno sarei in competizione a Parigi. È incredibile. Questa è davvero la gara che mi piacerebbe vincere”.

DSV-01, DS E-Tense e Jean-Eric Vergne, le stelle del giorno, saranno accompagnati da una serie di modelli DS 5. DS 5, il modello di punta del marchio lanciato nel giugno 2015, è stato il primo veicolo a caratterizzare il nuovo front-end con l’identità delle ali del marchio DS. Con il suo stile d’avanguardia, la dinamica, la raffinatezza, l’attenzione ai dettagli e le caratteristiche di alta tecnologia, DS 5 ha tutti gli attributi dei modelli attuali e futuri di DS.

On 20 April 2016, the DS brand electrifies Paris

Paris, France. 15th April 2016. Three days ahead of the Paris ePrix, the Formula E race around the Hôtel des Invalides, the DS brand is putting on a show with an exceptional parade through the streets of the French capital.

The spotlight will be on DSV-01, the all-electric single-seater representing DS Virgin Racing in the FIA Formula E Championship, with team driver Jean-Eric Vergne at the wheel. Adding a further electrifying touch to this original event in the heart of Paris, DS E-TENSE will also be present. The brand’s latest creation, this unique vehicle features a high-performance electric drivetrain, embodying the brand’s future.

On Wednesday 20 April 2016, the DS brand is set to electrify the streets of Paris with a parade starting at 11:00am in front of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme and finishing at 1:00pm at DS WORLD PARIS, 33 rue François 1er.

The brand is inviting motorsport and car enthusiasts, passers-by and Parisians to discover two original all-electric vehicles: DSV-01 and DS E-TENSE. The first vehicle is making its debut in Paris, while the second is making its debut on the road. An original duo that is sure to cause a stir on the streets of Paris.

DSV-01: the Formula E vehicle of the DS Virgin Racing Team

Following its first official appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, DSV-01, the all-electric single-seater representing the DS Virgin Racing team, has travelled around the world as part of the FIA Formula E Championship, from Asia to Latin America and from the USA to Europe. Today, it is in Paris to compete in the next ePrix on Saturday 23 April 2016, around the Hôtel des Invalides.

DSV-01 is the result of the partnership between Virgin Racing and DS Automobiles. The brand worked on the development of the vehicle through its motorsport division, DS Performance, managed by Xavier Mestelan Pinon. The brand’s engineers worked on the drivetrain (e-motor / gearbox / controller) as well as on the cooling system, rear suspension and transmission. More than just an R&D laboratory, DS Performance is a showcase for the technological expertise and avant-garde mindset of the DS brand.

DS E-Tense: a unique, electrifying, high performance car for a real future

Revealed in March at the Geneva Motor Show, DS E-TENSE is the brand’s latest creation. DS E-TENSE combines craftsmanship worthy of France’s leading luxury brands with the use of digital tools. It is unique in terms of both exterior design and driving sensations: a mix of luxury, cutting-edge technology and advanced performance. Reflecting the brand’s vision in terms of both technology and style, this avant-garde creation points the way to the future with an electric drivetrain of exceptional performance.

Just a few words and figures set the tone for this latest DS vehicle: 516Nm, silence, 402bhp, zero greenhouse gas emissions, 4.72m long and 1.29m tall. A unique vehicle uniting advanced technology with refinement.

It is in Paris, the brand’s home, that DS E-Tense will be making its debut and going out to meet Parisians.

Wednesday 20th April, an original parade through the streets of Paris

Close to the Place Vendôme, in front of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, DSV-01 and DS E-TENSE will set off on their first tour of Paris, driving around the heart of the city. An exceptional tour of the city, taking in the Opera house and the Louvre, before driving along the left bank of the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. From there, they will head back via the right bank of the Seine, past the Grand Palais, to finish their tour at DS World Paris, the brand’s flagship store, at No. 33, rue François 1er.

To enable the public to get a closer look at these cars, two stops have been scheduled, the first in front of the Louvre Pyramid, and the second at Trocadéro. These stops will also provide a great opportunity for the public to meet Jean-Eric Vergne, who will be at the wheel of the DSV-01. One of the two DS Virgin Racing team drivers, currently taking part in the FIA Formula E Championship, France’s Jean-Eric Vergne is very enthusiastic about the upcoming Paris ePrix: “it’s the race I’ve been waiting for this season. I could never have imagined that one day I’d be competing in Paris. It’s incredible. This is really the race that I would like to win.”

DSV-01, DS E-Tense and Jean-Eric Vergne, the stars of the day, will be escorted by a number of DS 5 models. DS 5, the brand’s flagship model launched in June 2015, was the first vehicle to feature the new front end with the DS wings brand identity. With its avant-garde styling, dynamic ride, refinement, attention to detail and high-tech features, DS 5 has all the attributes of current and future DS models.

Members of the public will be able to discover the DS brand and its models, and to admire DSV-01*until 22 April, at DS WORLD PARIS.
