Il team americano arriva agli appuntamenti europei continuando a lottare per il successo.

Monaco, 11 maggio 2017 – Dopo aver gareggiato su tre continenti dall’inizio del Campionato FIA di Formula E 2016/17, il team di Faraday Future Dragon Racing torna al circuito cittadino più celebre e pieno di storia per la seconda edizione dell’ePrix di Monaco.

Il team ha dato prova di abilità e intraprendenza nel portare i piloti e le loro auto in vantaggio all’ePrix di Città del Messico, ma entrambi i piloti di Faraday Future Dragon Racing, Loïc Duval (no. 6) e Jérôme D’Ambrosio (no. 7), hanno avuto la loro dose di sfortuna. Nella prossima gara di Monaco, tuttavia, ci sarà una strategia diversa.

L’ePrix di Monaco inaugura le tappe Europee, che saranno 5 e si prolungheranno in estate. Con le sue 12 curve lungo un circuito di 1,09 miglia, Monaco è il percorso più breve, e potenzialmente più veloce, del calendario di questa stagione. Affronto con lo stesso slancio Monaco, la mia città, e gli altri appuntamenti di quest’estate in Europa e Nord America. Siamo a metà della stagione e c’è ancora una gran quantità di lavoro da portare a termine,

dice D’Ambrosio.

La classifica attuale della Formula E vede il team di Faraday Future Dragon Racing in settima posizione nel campionato dei team. D’Ambrosio al momento è al quattordicesimo posto, con 10 punti, e distanzia il suo compagno Duval di un punto. Duval è quindicesimo nel campionato piloti.

Le due sessioni di prova cominceranno sabato 13 maggio alle 8:00 GMT e alle 10:30 GMT, mentre si corre per le qualificazioni alle 12:00 GMT. I 51 giri della gara partiranno alle 16:00 GMT. Le sessioni di prova saranno trasmesse live dalla app di FOX Sport GO mobile. Si potranno vedere le qualificazioni su FOX Sports 2 a partire dale 8:00 EDT. La gara sarà trasmessa alle 11:30 EDT da FOX Sports 1.

Faraday Future Dragon Racing Ready For Monaco Return

The American team continues to strive for success entering European rounds.

Monaco, 11 May 2017 – Competing on three continents since the start of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship, the Faraday Future Dragon Racing team returns to the most famous and historic street circuit for the second rendition of the Monaco ePrix.

The team displayed prowess and resourcefulness to get the drivers and their cars in the lead for the Mexico City ePrix, but Faraday Future Dragon Racing drivers Loïc Duval (no. 6) and Jérôme D’Ambrosio (no. 7) saw their share of unfortunate circumstances. The coming contest in Monaco, however, will provide a different strategy.

The Monaco ePrix is the opening venue for the subsequent four European rounds this summer. Consisting of 12 turns around a 1.09-mile circuit, Monaco serves as the shortest track on the calendar this season with potentials of being the quickest. The circuit is a shortened version of the classic Formula One Grand Prix layout, a racing spectacle that has been the premiere sporting occasion in Monaco since 1929.

It’s a short track which means that overtaking chances are slim during the race,

said Duval.

It’ll be critical to complete qualifying with high marks but the team’s been persistently working to get ourselves in thatprime position.

 

I’m ready to get back in the car after my battle for a top-three finish in Mexico City,

said D’Ambrosio.

I see this momentum continuing here in Monaco, my hometown, and the additional rounds in Europe and North America this summer. We’re halfway through the season and there’s still plenty more work that can be accomplished.

The current Formula E standings place the Faraday Future Dragon Racing team in 7 th position in the team championship. D’Ambrosio currently stands in 14 th place with 10 points, ahead of his teammate Duval by one point. Duval is 15th in the drivers championship.

Two practice sessions for the Monaco ePrix on Saturday, May 13 begin at 8:00 AM GMT and 10:30 GMT with qualifying at 12:00 PM GMT. The 51-lap race will go green at 4:00 PM GMT. Practice sessions will be broadcast live on the FOX Sports GO mobile app. Qualifying will be available on FOX Sports 2 beginning 8:00 AM EDT. The race will be broadcast at 11:30 AM EDT on FOX Sports 1.
