Parigi, Francia. 15 Gennaio 2016. L’inaugurazione della pista dell’ ePrix di Parigi è stata accolta con una fantastica ovazione quando Leonardo DiCaprio e Sir Richard Branson hanno dato il loro appoggio alla manifestazione nella capitale francese.

Il circuito, che è stato presentato di fronte a un raduno di diversi mezzi, autorità locali e funzionari di governo, vedrà per la prima volta la corsa completamente elettrica sulle strade di Parigi il 23 aprile.

Il premiato attore e ambientalista globale Leonardo DiCaprio, che è stato recentemente nominato per presiedere il Comitato per la Sostenibilità della Formula E, ha twittato:

“la gara FIA di Formula E si terrà a Parigi il 4/23. Eccitato per la città di Parigi e per la sua gente”.

Il proprietario del team DS Virgin Racing e imprenditore Sir Richard Branson ha fatto eco il sentimento, su Twitter:

“gara di FIA Formula E. Entusiasmo a Parigi il 23/4. DS Virgin Racing ci sarà a sostegno dello sport, di Parigi e della sua gente”.

L’annuncio si è anche dimostrato popolare tra i fan della serie, generando più di 160.000 impressioni su Twitter entro 24 ore.

I biglietti saranno disponibili per l’acquisto nelle prossime settimane con i primi prezzi a partire da 20 euro.

Fantastic response to Paris ePrix launch

Paris, France. January15, 2016. The unveiling of the track for the Paris ePrix was met with a fantastic ovation as Leonardo DiCaprio and Sir Richard Branson gave their endorsement to the event in the French capital.

The circuit, which was unveiled in front of a gathering of assorted media, local authorities and government officials, will see fully-electric racing in the streets of Paris for the first time on April 23.

Award-winning actor and global environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio, who was recently appointed to chair the Formula E Sustainability Committee, tweeted:

‘FIA Formula E races are taking place in Paris on 4/23. Excited for the city of Paris and its people.’

DS Virgin Racing team owner and entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson echoed the sentiment, tweeting:

‘Thrilled FIA Formula E races in Paris on 23/4. DS Virgin Racing will be there supporting the sport, Paris and its people.’

The announcement also proved popular with fans of the series, generating over 160,000 impressions on Twitter within 24 hours.

Tickets will be available to purchase in the coming weeks with early bird prices starting from 20 Euros.
