Parigi, Francia. 1° luglio 2016. Oggi, la FIA ha pubblicato i nomi delle 10 squadre iscritte per partecipare alla terza stagione del FIA Formula E Championship, che prenderà il via a Hong Kong il 9 ottobre.

Otto delle 10 squadre sono state coinvolte fin dall’inizio della prima serie di monoposto completamente elettriche al mondo, anche se alcuni hanno subito un cambio di nome da allora.

Le new entry Jaguar, la società che ha scelto la Formula E per celebrare il suo ritorno al motorsport dopo un’assenza di oltre un decennio, e la squadra cinese Techeetah, che ha assunto l’ingresso del team Aguri ed è di proprietà di China Media Capital, con capitale pubblico e società di venture capital con sede a Shanghai. Un altro nome nuovo è quello di Faraday Future, una società di mobilità avanzata con sede nella Silicon Valley nel Southern California (USA), che è entrata in una nuova partnership tecnologica con Dragon Racing.

Ten teams enetered for the 2016/2017 FIA Formula E Championship

Paris, France. July 1st 2016. Today, the FIA released the names of the 10 teams entered to take part in the third season of the FIA Formula E Championship, which gets underway in Hong Kong on October 9.

Eight of the 10 teams have been involved right from the very beginning of the world’s first fully electric single-seater series, even if some have undergone a name change since then.

The new entries come courtesy of Jaguar, the company choosing Formula E to mark its return to motorsport after an absence of over a decade, and the Chinese Techeetah team, that took over Team Aguri’s entry and is owned by China Media Capital, a public equity and venture capital firm based in Shanghai. Another new name is that of Faraday Future, an advanced mobility company with headquarters in Silicon Valley and Southern California (USA), which has entered into a new technological partnership with Dragon Racing.
