Putrajaya, Malesia. 24 Novembre, 2014. Il CEO della Formula E Alejandro Agag ritiene che il Putrajaya ePrix è stato un evento spettacolare che ha portato il campionato ad un nuovo livello.
“Quando si inizia bene la cosa importante è cercare sempre di fare ancora meglio”, ha detto. “Questo era il nostro obiettivo a Putrajaya, dopo il nostro debutto a Pechino, e penso che possiamo dire di averlo raggiunto.
“La gara è stata spettacolare, ricca di sorpassi ed emozioni, grazie ad una bella pista. Credo che il pubblico in pista e tutti quelli che hanno seguito la gara in televisione ha avuto grandi emozioni. Ancora più soddisfatti sono tutti i fan che hanno votato per Bruno Senna con il FanBoost: grazie a loro il conducente ha potuto sfruttare la spinta in più di 40 bhp per fare un bel sorpasso su Nico Prost.
Questa è la prima volta nello sport in cui i tifosi possono davvero interagire con uno sport e diventare protagonisti!
“Gli impianti sono stati degni di un evento di livello mondiale e voglio ringraziare i nostri partner e Formula E Malaysia, che hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro. Ora tutti i nostri sforzi sono diretti in Sud America, dove avremo due gare in un mese. La prima il 13 dicembre a Punta del Este in Uruguay e il 10 gennaio si correrà a Buenos Aires in Argentina. In una terra dove il motorsport ha una forte tradizione sono sicuro che saremo accolti con calore e passione”.
Il pensiero dei piloti fanno eco a quelli di Agag.
Lucas di Grassi, che ha chiuso secondo per l’ABT Audi Sport ha detto: “Congratulazioni a tutti i coinvolti nell’organizzazione di questa gara. E ‘stata davvero una buona pista con molte curve diverse e impegnative, e quello che ha creato una corsa emozionante”.

Putrajaya, November 24, 2014. Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag believes the Putrajaya ePrix was a spectacular event that took the championship to new heights.
“When you start well the important thing is to always try to do even better,” he said. “This was our goal ahead of Putrajaya, after our debut in Beijing, and I think we can say we have achieved this.
“The race was spectacular, full of overtaking and emotions, thanks to a really nice track. I think the audience on track and all those who followed the race on television had a great time. Even more satisfied are all the fans who voted for Bruno Senna in FanBoost: thanks to them the driver could exploit extra 40bhp boost to make a beautiful overtake on Nico Prost. This is the first time fans can really interact with a sport and become protagonists!
“The facilities have been worthy of a world-class event and I want to thank our partners and Formula E Malaysia, who have done a really good job. Now all our efforts are directed to South America, where we will have two races in a month. First up on December 13 we will be in Punta del Este in Uruguay and on January 10 we will race in Buenos Aires in Argentina. In a land where motorsport has a strong tradition I’m sure we will be greeted with warmth and passion.”
The drivers echoed Agag’s thoughts.
Lucas di Grassi, who finished second for Audi Sport ABT said: “Congratulations to everyone involved in making this race happen. It was a really good track with lots of different and challenging corners, and one that created exciting racing.”
