Formula E, officially the FIA Formula E Championship, is a class of auto racing that uses exclusively electric-powered cars. The inaugural championship started in Beijing on 13rd September 2014. The series is sanctioned by the FIA – Federation Internationale de l’Automobile. Each race is organized into city circuits and the Championship has involved the most important cities in the world, like Beijing, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Montecarlo, Berlin, Paris, New York and Montreal.
