Berlino, Germania. 21 Luglio 2015. Il BMW i Vision Future Interaction è stato presentato con il premio speciale inaugurale per la sua connettività nella cerimonia di premiazioni dell’Auto Test Sieger 2016. Il Concept Car ha precedentemente dimostrato le possibilità di usi dell’interfaccia nelle future vetture a guida autonoma al CES di Las Vegas del 2016, includendo la tecnologia dei display ad alta definizione.

Tutte le funzioni possono essere controllate utilizzando le superfici touchscreen ed i gesti.

La BMW i Vision Future Interaction offre un’impressionante visione che va oltre l’auto connessa del futuro, integra l’ambiente digitalizzato nell’abitacolo ed è più conveniente e intuitivo da usare.

Gli interni del futuro

La BMW i Vision Future Interaction è stata sviluppata sulla base della BMW i8  Concept Spyder. Il suo Head-Up Display ad alta risoluzione riflette I dati più importanti nel parabrezza del veicolo mentre un altro strumento proietta altre informazioni in tre dimensioni, come ad esempio la presenza di altri veicoli che arrivano nel senso opposto e che non sono ancora nel campo visivo del conducente.

Il display panoramico da 21” viene utilizzato usando il controllo dei gesti. Funziona come un touchscreen che non ha bisogno di essere toccato poiché i sensori vedono i movimenti in tre dimensioni.

La superfice sensibile al tatto della consolle centrale offre funzioni addizionali, permettendo navigare attraverso i diversi menu come negli smartphone.

Quando il conducente entra nella BMW i Vision Future Interaction, il display panoramico presenta le applicazioni che possono essere viste dallo smartphone oppure da altri dispositivi digitali con l’aiuto del BMW Conneted.

Il display aggiusta automaticamente il modo di guida indicato ed in un futuro scenario quando i veicoli verranno guidati in modo completamente automatico, il sistema potrebbe permettere di effettuare telefonate o video trasmissioni.

Cerimonia di presentazione a Berlino

La speciale cerimonia di premiazione si è tenuta a Berlino il 20 Luglio.

Il bimestrale tedesco Auto Test è il più letto in Europa ed include supplementi speciali in diversi settori.

Berlin, Germany. 21st July 2016. The BMW i Vision Future Interaction has been presented with the inaugural special prize for connectivity at the Auto Test Sieger 2016 awards ceremony. The concept car had previously used the CES 2016 in Las Vegas to demonstrate how the user interface of the future might look in anautonomous car –helped by technology includinghigh-resolutiondisplays. All functions can be controlled using touch-sensitive surfaces and gestures. TheBMWi Vision Future Interaction provides an impressive look ahead to the connected car of the future, which is integrated into the driver’s digital environment and is more intuitive and convenient to use.

The interior of the future

TheBMW i Vision Future Interaction is based on theBMW i8 Concept Spyder. Itshigh-resolutionHead-Up Display reflectsthe most important vehicle data ontothe windscreen, while aninstrument cluster displays other informationthree-dimensionally (autostereoscopically) –e.g. on vehicles travelling in front or oncoming vehicles which are not yet in the driver’s field of vision. The 21-inch(approx.40 cm) panoramadisplay is operated using gesture control. It works like a touchscreen that doesn’t need to be touched, sensors detecting hand movements in three dimensions. Touch-sensitive surfaceson the centre console provideadditionalusageoptions, allowingthe user to navigatethrough menus bytapping and swiping, as withasmartphone.

When the driver gets into the BMW i Vision Future Interaction, this panorama display seamlessly presentsthe contentwhich can be viewedon smartphonesor otherdigital deviceswith the help of BMW Connected. Thedisplay adjusts automatically tothedriving mode currently engaged. In a future scenario where vehicles are driving fully autonomously, the system could switch from all-audio transmission ofphone calls, for example, to video transmission.

Presentation ceremony in Berlin

The special prize was presented at a ceremony held in Berlinon 20 July. German bi-monthly magazine Auto Testis Europe’s most widely read car-buying guide. It is also enclosed as a supplement with special-interest magazines.
