Ginevra, Svizzera. 2 Marzo 2017. L’edizione 87° del Motor Show internazionale di Ginevra aprirà le porte al pubblico dal 9 al 19 Marzo 2017. Si prenderà il via con due giorni della stampa prima dell’inaugurazione ufficiale presieduta dal signor Johann N. Schneider-Ammann, un membro del Consiglio nazionale svizzero, aprendo l’esposizione di 900 modelli tra cui 148 anteprime mondialei ed europee da 180 espositori che condivideranno questa ribalta.

Essi comprendono tutti i grandi produttori, specialisti di preparazione e piccoli costruttori esclusivi di vetture ad alte prestazioni, progettisti di automobili decisamente senza tempo e la maggior parte dei fornitori di componenti, accessori e attrezzature per il settore automobilistico. Questi diversi gruppi offriranno ai visitatori un’esperienza unica e la comprensione del mondo dell’automobile.

Per più di una settimana, la webcam del sito www.gims.swiss ha seguito tutte le attività della struttura degli espositori nelle sale espositive al Palexpo. Lo sviluppo delle strutture espositive più spettacolari del mondo automobilistico possono essere seguite in diretta.

“Tecnologia e design sono le due parole chiave che meglio caratterizzano il Salone di Ginevra, e che forniscono la felicità per gli oltre 700mila visitatori che ci si aspetta. Una volta dentro nello spettacolo è come immergersi in un universo d’oro segnato da carrozzerie dalle linee fluide, i colori sono scintillanti d’oro riflettono in un fondo opaco e da alte prestazioni e più profumi emanati dalla pelle ad alta resistenza” – ha spiegato Mr. Maurice Turrettini, Presidente del Ginevra International Motor Show, e ripreso da Mr. Andre Hefti, General Manager del Motor Show che ha detto “è anche una grande opportunità di scoprire le ultime tecnologie di” infotainment “che sono state lanciate per assistere la nostra guida e per garantire che altri settori dell’automobilismo siano più efficienti, affidabili e comodi”.

La bandiera di partenza sventolerà il Lunedi, 6 marzo 2017 con l’elezione del Car of the Year, è il 6° anno consecutivo che il vincitore sarà scelto dai 7 finalisti al Motor Show. Mentre la partecipazione alla presentazione di questo premio sarà limitata ai giornalisti, il pubblico può seguire il procedimento di streaming a www.caroftheyear.org oppure a www.gims.swiss.

Ogni anno più di 10mila rappresentanti dei media provenienti da tutto il mondo. 62 dei primi 180 espositori presenteranno una o più delle 148 news annunciate.

Tra tutti questi sarà fattibile scoprire alcune pepite d’oro, come la prima vettura ad alte prestazioni del costruttore indiano Tata, una macchina da sogno dell’ex campione di F1 Emerson Fittipaldi creata da Pininfarina, o l’eleganza sportiva tipica del costruttore britannico David Brown Automotive .

L’efficienza è tutt’altro che dimenticata: il designer svizzero Sbarro presenterà un piccolo veicolo a tre ruote che è estremamente manovrabile, gli espositori Dendrobium e Catecar potranno promuovere le loro automobili che sono sia ad alte prestazioni che amiche dell’ambiente, e Segula Technologies dalla Francia presenterà il loro concept car, con una serie di nuove tecnologie compresa la realtà virtuale.

Dopo il Cocktail del Presidente nella notte di Martedì 7 Marzo che riunirà tutti gli espositori ed oltre 350 ospiti del mondo delle imprese regionali e del mondo economico in una prima panoramica di questa 87esima edizione, il Salone aprirà le porte al pubblico il Giovedi 9 marzo 2017.

Questa inaugurazione sarà presieduta dal consigliere nazionale svizzero e capo del Dipartimento dell’Economia, il signor Johann N. Schneider-Ammann e il presidente dello Stato di Ginevra, il signor Francois Longchamp.

Da non perdere quest’anno:

La mostra speciale TAG Heuer nel padiglione 3. Questo orologiaio svizzero: ha la reputazione di eccezionale precisione nel settore degli orologi e delle tecnologie TIC di performance per gli sport a motore. La mostra comprende auto da corsa e simulatori di gara.

Il download dell’App “Salon Car Collector” sviluppata dall’Ufficio Federale dell’Energia, lo sponsor che presenta per il Motor Show la campagna “co2auplancher”. L’App guiderà i visitatori a tutti i veicoli di Classe A del Salone, quelli che emettono un massimo di 95 grammi di CO2 per chilometro.

Il Motor Show rimarrà aperto per undici giorni, dalle 10:00 alle 20:00 nei giorni feriali e dalle 9:00 alle 19:00 nei fine settimana.

Per agevolare i visitatori ed aumentare il numero durante il giorno, e per migliorare la loro comodità, uno sconto del 50% sul prezzo del biglietto di entrata sarà disponibile tutti i giorni dalle 16:00.

Il Salone Internazionale di Ginevra è uno dei “Top 5” nel mondo ed è l’unico salone dell’automobile in Europa che si effettua ogni anno e viene Riconosciuto dal OICA (Organizzazione Internazionale dei Costruttori dell’Automobile.

Geneva, Switzerland. 2nd March 2017. The 87th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show will open its doors to the public from March 9-19, 2017. It will kick off with two Press Days before the official inauguration presided over by Mr. Johann N. Schneider-Ammann, a member of the Swiss National Council, opening the exhibition of 900 models including 148 world and European premiers. 180 exhibitors will share this limelight. They include all of the large manufacturers, smaller exclusive constructors, high performance preparation specialists, resolutely timeless automotive designers, plus suppliers of parts, accessories, and equipment to the automotive sector. These diverse groups will offer visitors a unique experience and insight into the world of the automobile.

For over a week now, the webcam of the site www.gims.swiss has been following all the activities of the construction of the display stands in the exhibition halls at Palexpo. The development of the most spectacular display structures in the automobile world can be followed live.

“Technology and Design are the two key words that best characterise the Geneva Show, and that provide the happiness for the more than 700,000 visitors who are expected. A tour of the Show is like plunging into a universe of bodyworks with fluid or marked lines, colours that are scintillating or deep matt and reflect high performance, plus the scents emanating from high resistance leather” explained Mr. Maurice Turrettini, President of the Geneva International Motor Show, and echoed by Mr. Andre Hefti, General Manager of the Motor Show who said “It is also a unique opportunity to discover the latest technologies of “infotainement” that have been launched to assist in driving and other areas to ensure our motoring is more efficient, reliable and comfortable”.

The starting flag will go down on Monday, March 6, 2017 with the election of the Car of the Year. It is the 6th consecutive year that the winner will be chosen from the 7 finalists at the Motor Show. While the attendance at the presentation of this award will be limited to journalists, the general public can follow the proceedings by live streaming at www.gims.swiss or www.caroftheyear.org.

Following this event will be the two Press Days which each year attracts more than 10,000 media representatives from all over the world. 62 of the 180 exhibitors will be presenting one or more premiers as part of the 148 announced. Among these it will be possible to discover some gold nuggets such as: the first high performance car from the Indian constructor Tata, a dream car for the F1 Champion Emerson Fittipaldi created by Pininfarina, or the sportive elegance typical of the British constructor David Brown Automotive. Efficiency too, is far from forgotten: the Swiss designer Sbarro will present a small three-wheeled vehicle that is extremely manoeuvrable, the exhibitors Dendrobium and Catecar will promote their cars that are both high performance and environment friendly, and Segula Technologies from France will present their concept car, a bunch of new technologies including Virtual Reality.

After the President’s Cocktail on Tuesday night March 7, which will bring together all of the exhibitors plus 350 guests from the regional business and economic world, a first overview for this 87th edition, the Motor Show will open its doors to the general public on Thursday morning March 9, 2017. This inauguration will be presided over by the Swiss National Councillor and head of the Department of the Economy, Mr. Johann N. Schneider-Ammann and the President of the State of Geneva, Mr. Francois Longchamp.

Not to be missed this year:

The special TAG Heuer exhibition in Hall 3. This Swiss watchmaker has a reputation for exceptional precision in its watches and performance technologies for motor sports. The exhibition will include race cars and race simulators.

The downloading of the App « Salon Car Collector » developed by the Swiss Federal Energy Office, the presenting sponsor for the Motor Show with its campaign « co2auplancher ». The App will guide the visitors to all of the vehicles at the Show in the Energy Category A, which emit a maximum of 95 grams of CO2 per kilometre.

The Motor Show will remain open for eleven days, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the weekends. To better spread out the number of visitors during the day, and to improve their comfort, a 50% discount on the entry ticket price will be available from 4:00 p.m. every day.

The Geneva International Motor Show is one of the « Top 5 » in the world and is the only motor show in Europe that occurs each year and is recognised by the OICA (International Organisation of Automobile Constructors).
