Volkswagen Group consegna 686,900 veicoli a Febbraio

→ 1,5 milioni di veicoli consegnati nel mese di gennaio e febbraio 2017

Wolfsburg, Germania. 20 Marzo 2017. Nei primi due mesi dell’anno, il Gruppo Volkswagen ha consegnato 1,5 milioni di veicoli ai propri clienti in tutto il mondo. Nel mese di febbraio, il Gruppo Volkswagen ha consegnato 686.900 veicoli ai propri clienti.

“Febbraio mostra il diverso sviluppo dei mercati nelle diverse regioni. Stiamo vivendo un vento di coda in Europa centrale e orientale, così come in Nord America e sono stati in grado di aumentare le consegne dal Gruppo, in alcuni casi in modo significativo, in queste regioni. D’altra parte, le consegne in Germania e nella regione Asia-Pacifico è rimasta sotto il livello dell’anno precedente”, ha dichiarato Fred Kappler, responsabile vendite del Gruppo Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, che riassume i dati di febbraio. “Tuttavia, ci aspettiamo che possiamo ancora una volta guardare avanti per una crescita sana in Cina quest’anno. Insieme ai nostri marchi del Gruppo, stiamo lavorando sulla crescita qualitativa”, ha aggiunto Kappler.

In Europa, il Gruppo ha consegnato 620,100 veicoli ai suoi clienti nei primi due mesi dell’anno (+ 2,6 per cento) tra cui 307.200 nel mese di febbraio. In Europa centrale e orientale, le consegne del Gruppo nel mese di febbraio sono cresciute del 11,6 per cento a 55.500 veicoli. In Russia, il Gruppo ha consegnato 13.100 veicoli, con un incremento del 6,3 per cento. Nel mese di febbraio, 251,700 veicoli sono stati consegnati ai clienti in Europa occidentale, tra cui 97.400 unità nel mercato di casa della Germania.

In Nord America, il Gruppo ha consegnato 67.300 veicoli nel mese di febbraio, una crescita del 8,0 per cento. Di questi, 42.800 consegne sono state registrate negli Stati Uniti – un aumento del 13,3 per cento. In Sud America, il Gruppo ha consegnato 35.400 veicoli (+ 4,1 per cento).

Le consegne nella regione Asia-Pacifico nel mese di febbraio hanno raggiunto 248,400 veicoli. In totale, 616,500 nuovi veicoli sono stati consegnati ai clienti nella regione nei primi due mesi dell’anno. Questa cifra comprendeva 223.000 nuovi veicoli consegnati ai clienti in Cina nel mese di febbraio, che corrisponde ad un leggero calo del 1,9 per cento.

Volkswagen Group delivers 686,900 vehicles in February

Wolfsburg, 20 March 2017 – In the first two months of the year, the Volkswagen Group delivered 1.5 million vehicles to its customers throughout the world. In February, the Volkswagen Group handed over 686,900 vehicles to its customers.

“February shows the different development of markets in the various regions. We are experiencing a tailwind in Central and Eastern Europe as well as North America and were able to increase deliveries by the Group, in some cases significantly, in these regions. On the other hand, deliveries in Germany and the Asia-Pacific region remained below the previous year’s level,” said Fred Kappler, Head of Group Sales of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, summarizing the figures for February. “However, we expect that we can once again look forward to healthy growth in China this year. Together with our Group brands, we are working on qualitative growth,” Kappler added.

In Europe, the Group handed 620,100 vehicles over to its customers in the first two months of the year (+2.6 per cent) including 307,200 in February. In Central and Eastern Europe, Group deliveries in February grew by 11.6 per cent to 55,500 vehicles. In Russia, the Group delivered 13,100 vehicles, an increase of 6.3 per cent. In February, 251,700 vehicles were handed over to customers in Western Europe, including 97,400 units in the home market of Germany.

In North America, the Group delivered 67,300 vehicles in February, achieving growth of 8.0 per cent. Of this figure, 42,800 deliveries were recorded in the USA – a rise of 13.3 per cent. In South America, the Group delivered 35,400 vehicles (+4.1 per cent).

Deliveries in the Asia-Pacific region in February reached 248,400 vehicles. In total, 616,500 new vehicles were handed over to customers in the region in the first two months of the year. This figure included 223,000 new vehicles delivered to customers in China in February, corresponding to a slight fall of 1.9 per cent.
