Joël Smets: “Tacita T-Race C Cross è una vera moto, non una mountain bike truccata”

Torino, Italia. 27 maggio 2015. Il cinque volte campione del mondo di Motocross, Joël Smets, ha fatto dichiarazioni importanti da un intenditore del mondo del mondo della moto ad altissimo livello
“Una moto elettrica che si guida proprio come una moto da cross”. È questo il commento del belga Joël Smets, dopo aver guidato in gara la Tacita T-Race C Cross all’E-Mx Race of Champions di Zolder il 21 aprile scorso in Belgio.
Parlando con Pierpaolo Rigo, presidente e fondatore di Tacita, Smets, cinque volte campione del mondo di Motocross, ha dichiarato:
“Negli ultimi due anni ho seguito l’evoluzione delle moto elettriche abbastanza da vicino. Con Tacita – per la prima volta – ho avuto l’impressione di guidare una vera dirtbike e non una mountain bike truccata”.
Nel dopo gara il pilota Diego Pederiva ha affermato:
“Andare in finale alla E-Mx Race of Champions in sfida 1 contro 1 con un cinque volte campione del mondo come Joël Smets già per me è stata un’emozione; vincerla, poi, dopo una manche fatta di sorpassi e sportellate con arrivo al fotofinish davanti a un pubblico incredibile, è stato il massimo!!!. E con le moto elettriche – sottolinea Pederiva – l’incitamento del pubblico si sente tutto”!

Turin, Italy. May 27th, 2015. “With the electric Tacita T-Race I had for the first time the impression to ride a real cross bike”, Belgian Joël Smets said about Tacita T Race C Cross at the E-Mx Race at Zolder, Belgium, last 21st , 22nd, 23rd and 24th of April.

Speaking with Pierpaolo Rigo, President and founder of the Italian Tacita, 5-time Motocross World Champion Joël Smets said that: “I have followed the evolution of electric bikes quiet closely in last couple of years. It was great to discover that Tacita T Race is a true cross bike, not a “pimped” mountain bike!”.
The Tacita race at Zolder was challenging and fun: two semifinals that saw a hard battle among the Dutch Dakar rider Henno Van Beigeijk, the italian Diego Pederiva and the Belgium star Joël Smets.
In the final the Italian beat five-time world champion Joël Smets in a thrilling photo-finish sprint.
“Racing the final with Joël Smets was already a victory for me” Italian Diego Pederiva said, “succeeding to cross the finish line in front after a hard battle was really a dream come true. The support of the public was amazing. The feeling you have with the electric bike is incredible because the engines are silent, although so powerful. Riding Tacita you have the impression to ride one of the best motocross bikes”.
