Putrajaya, Malaysia. 5 November 2015. Sam Bird ha fatto apparire facile la sua vittoria a Putrajaya. Il pilota Virgin Racing è stato in testa con una classe tutta sua per le strade difficili della città malese.

Il successo di Bird è stato il premio per un ottimo sorpasso che gli è valso la testa della corsa. A partire al fianco di Oriol Servia sulla prima fila della griglia, Bird è riuscito a strappare la testa della gara al pilota del Dragon Racing nella prima curva. Ma l’astuto spagnolo ha difeso la sua posizione e Bird doveva essere paziente…

Putrajaya, Malaysia. 5 November 2015. Sam Bird made winning look easy in Putrajaya. The Virgin Racing driver was in a class of his own around the challenging streets of the Malaysian city.

Bird’s success was reward for an excellent overtaking move that earned him the lead of the race. Starting alongside Oriol Servia on the front row of the grid, Bird almost managed to wrest the lead from the Dragon Racing driver into the first turn. But the wily Spaniard defended his position and Bird had to be patient.
