Renault e.dams ha il piacere di annunciare che continueranno la loro collaborazione con Sébastien Buemi e Nicolas Prost fino al 2019.

Parigi, Francia. 9 giugno 2017. Renault e.dams ha vinto 11 gare con questo duo eccezionale. Inoltre, nel 2016 hanno ottenuto due titoli di squadra consecutivi e la corona dei piloti con Sébastien Buemi.

Nella classifica attuale, Renault e.dams conduce il campionato di squadre di 75 punti grazie all’ottenimento di cinque eccellenti vittorie da sei gare. Sébastien Buemi rimane in posizione dominante nella classifica dei piloti, mentre Nicolas Prost si trova in terza posizione.

Alla vigilia della ePrix di Berlino, Alain Prost, co-proprietario della squadra ha commentato:

“Abbiamo un forte paio di piloti che hanno dimostrato grande successo fino ad oggi. Pertanto, è molto importante mantenere la stabilità nella squadra, dato che stiamo già lavorando allo sviluppo della vettura per la stagione 5. L’armonia tra Séb e Nico, sia a livello personale che tecnico, è anche molto buona per il successo e abbiamo preso in considerazione questo. Queste cose combinate contribuiscono al raggiungimento del successo della squadra ed è stato ovvio per noi che volevamo rimanere in questa direzione. Sono anche lieto di avere il pieno sostegno di Renault in questa decisione”.

Jean-Paul Driot, co-proprietario della squadra ha aggiunto:

“Sono molto lieto di rinnovare la nostra partnership con i due piloti. Hanno assistito notevolmente Renault e.dams nel vincere il titolo delle squadre nelle prime due stagioni del FIA Formula E Championship. Sébastien Buemi – # 9:

“Sono molto contento di continuare l’avventura. La squadra ha fatto un lavoro incredibile e mi ha permesso di avere la migliore macchina sulla griglia. Non potrei chiedere altro. Non vedo l’ora di continuare a combattere duramente e portare a casa altre vittorie alla mia squadra “.

Nicolas Prost – # 8:

“Sono ovviamente felice di continuare con Renault e.dams per i prossimi due anni. La maggior parte delle persone all’interno della squadra è stata qui fin dalla prima prova a Donington nel 2014. Ci conosciamo bene tutti e otteniamo grandi prestazioni insieme. Continueremo a lavorare duramente per finire la terza stagione in alto e prepararci a fare ancora meglio nelle stagioni 4 e 5. Il livello non smette di salire e vogliamo mantenere il top “.

Renault e.Dams confirm Buemi and Prost until 2019 in FE

Renault e.dams is pleased to announce they will continue their successful partnership with Sébastien Buemi and Nicolas Prost until 2019.

Paris, France. 9^th June 2017. Renault e.dams has won 11 races with this outstanding duo. Furthermore, they have achieved two consecutive Teams’ titles and the Drivers’ crown with Sébastien Buemi in 2016.

In the current standings, Renault e.dams lead the Teams’ championship by 75 points thanks to obtaining five superb wins from six races. Sébastien Buemi remains in a commanding position at the top of the Drivers’ standings while Nicolas Prost sits in third.

On the eve of the Berlin ePrix, Alain Prost, co-owner of the team commented:

“We have a strong pair of drivers that have proven highly successful to date. Therefore, it is very important for us to maintain stability in the team, given that we are already working on the development of the car for season 5. The harmony between Séb and Nico, both on a personal and technical level, is also a very good gauge for success and we took this into account. These things combined contributes towards the achievement of the team and it was obvious to us that we wanted to remain in this direction. I am also pleased to have the full support from Renault with this decision”.

Jean-Paul Driot, co-owner of the team added:
