Città del Messico, 30 marzo 2017 – Il team di Faraday Future Dragon Racing torna in Messico per la quarta gara del Campionato FIA Formula E 2016/17 con l’ambizione di ripetere la vittoria del 2016 nel leggendario Autodrómo Hermanos Rodríguez.

Nonostante l’emozionante duello tra i piloti di Faraday Future Dragon Racing Loïc Duval (n. 6) e Jérôme D’Ambrosio (n. 7) all’ultimo giro dell’ePrix di Buenos Aires, il team non ha ancora raggiunto risultati che rispecchino il suo vero potenziale. D’Ambrosio ha conquistato i suoi primi punti della stagione di campionato a Hong Kong, ma Duval ha risentito di alcune difficoltà della meccanica in entrambi i round iniziali. Il francese, tuttavia, si è assicurato il premio di velocità a Marrakech, con un tempo di 1:22:600 al trentesimo giro. Due saranno le sessioni di allenamento per l’ePrix di Città del Messico, alle 8:00 e alle 10:30 ora locale (16:00 e 18:30 CEST). Gli allenamenti saranno trasmessi live tramite l’app FOX Sports GO. A partire dalle 15:30 ora locale (23:30 CEST), FOX Sport 1 trasmetterà la gara in diretta.

Faraday Future Dragon Racing Looks To Achieve High Marks In Mexico City ePrix

The team targets strong outcome after continued software development and optimization.

Mexico City, 30 March 2017 – The Faraday Future Dragon Racing team returns to Mexico for the fourth round of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship with aspirations to match the 2016 victory at the famed Autodrómo Hermanos Rodríguez.

Despite a thrilling duel between Faraday Future Dragon Racing drivers Loïc Duval (no. 6) and Jérôme D’Ambrosio (no. 7) in the final laps of the Buenos Aires ePrix, the team has not accomplished the results needed to reflect its true potential. Although D’Ambrosio captured his first championship points of the season in Hong Kong, Duval suffered mechanical difficulties in both opening rounds. The Frenchman, however, took the fastest lap award in Marrakech, producing a time of 1:22:600 on his 30th lap. The team remains determined to achieve race results in Mexico City after continued software development and optimization.

The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, well-known for hosting the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix, plays part in the Mexico City ePrix. The 1.267-mile circuit consists of 45 laps and 17 turns, and offers spectactors a stadium-like atmosphere with grandstands perched above the long curves through the Foro Sol baseball stadium. Standing at 8,200 feet above sea level, the Mexico City ePrix is the highest circuit on the Formula E calendar. The altitude, in addition to high temperatures and low air pressure, prove phsycally demanding for the drivers and cars.

Speaking ahead of Mexico City, Duval stated:

Mexico City is the most challenging circuit physically in the season’s calendar. Training since Buenos Aires and simulator testing will prove to be immensely beneficial for this round.

Two practice sessions for the Mexico City ePrix on Saturday, April 1 begin at 8:00 AM GMT and 10:30 GMT with qualifying at 12:00 PM GMT. The race will go green at 4:00 PM GMT. Practice sessions will be broadcast live on the FOX Sports GO mobile app. The race will also be shown live on FOX Sports 1 beginning 3:30 PM GMT.
