Londra, Gran Bretagna. 21 Novembre 2016.- Oggi, si è tenuto l’evento di Lancio alla Saatchi Gallery di Londra, nel Regno Unito, della Società di vetture elettriche NextEV che ha presentato il suo marchio, NIO. Questo marchio visionario aiutera gli utenti di auto elettriche a riscoprire la ‘vita’ delle automobili con la costruzione di veicoli ispiratori che offrono prestazioni superiori, un nuovo punto di riferimento per il design estetico e le esperienze uniche dell’utente.

Inoltre, l’azienda ha presentato la sua supercar elettrica NIO EP9, che ha raggiunto il nuovo record sul giro al Nürburgring Nordschliefe. il 12 novembre 2016, quando l’EP9 ha lambito i 20,8 km dell”’inferno verde’ in un tempo di 7m 05.12s, battendo il precedente record di EV sul giro da fermo, mentre questo tempo viene annunciato come  l’auto elettrica più veloce del mondo. Lo scorso 4 novembre, ha polverizzato il record di EV al circuito del Paul Ricard in Francia, registrando un tempo di 1m52.78s, eclissando il precedente record di 2m 40s.

Con quattro motori entrobordo ad alte prestazioni e quattro riduttori singoli, EP9 Offre un megawatt di potenza, pari a 1,360PS. La EP9 accelera da 0 a 200km/h in 7,1 Secondi e raggiunge una velocità massima di 313 km/h. Con un sistema di batteria intercambiabile, EP9 è progettata per essere caricata in 45 minuti ed ha un’autonomia di 427 km.

La carrozzeria ed il telaio incarnano un nuovo approccio alla progettazione dei veicoli con delle prestazioni in grado di gestire le esigenze fisiche di una macchina con funzionalità 3G in curva e con l’aggiunta di solidità strutturale ed efficienza aerodinamica. EP9 è in grado di raggiungere 24.000 Newton di carico aerodinamico ed una velocità massima di 240Km/h.

London, UK. November 21st, 2016. Today, at a launch event at the Saatchi Gallery in London, UK, electric car company NextEV unveiled its brand, NIO. This visionary electric car brand will help users rediscover the ‘joyful lifestyle’ of car ownership by creating inspiring vehicles that deliver superior performance, a new benchmark for aesthetic design and unique user experiences.

Additionally, the company unveiled its electric supercar, the NIO EP9, which has achieved a new lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschliefe. On October 12th 2016, the EP9 lapped the 20.8km ‘Green Hell’ in 7m 05.12s, beating the previous EV lap record held, marking it out as the fastest electric car in the world. Additionally, on November 4th, it smashed the EV record at Circuit Paul Ricard in France, recording a time of 1m 52.78s, eclipsing the previous record of 2m 40s.

With four high-performance inboard motors and four individual gearboxes, the EP9 delivers 1-MegaWatt of power, equivalent to 1,360PS. The EP9 accelerates from 0-200kph in 7.1 seconds and has a top speed of 313kph. With an interchangeable battery system, the EP9 is designed to be charged in 45 minutes and has a range of 427 kilometres.

The carbon cockpit and chassis embodies a new approach to performance vehicle design to handle the physical demands of a car with 3G cornering capabilities, with added structural solidity and aero efficiency. The EP9 is capable of achieving 24,000 Newtons of downforce at 240kph.
