Parigi, nota come “la Città della Luce” è una delle più famose città del mondo, che attrae turisti da ogni dove. La Francia è anche la nazione in cui il motorsport, come lo conosciamo oggi, è stato creato e la città in sé è parte di questa storia. Con appena 1,9 chilometri, il circuito è uno dei più brevi del calendario della Formula E, e si snoda intorno la complesso storico de Les Invalides, dove un pubblico da tutto esaurito tiferà la competizione tra piloti di primo livello.
Durante la Seconda Stagione, Robin Frijns si è posizionato per la sesta volta tra i primi 10 della stagione proprio all’ePrix di Parigi, finendo settimo e proprio davanti al suo attuale teammate della MS Amlin Andretti, Antonio Felix da Costa, che finì nono. Il team di Andretti di Formula E si avvia al weekend della corsa parigina con 18 punti di campionato, sedendo ottavo nelle classifica ma soltanto un punto dietro il settimo posto di Faraday Future Dragon Racing.
Mentre il team di MS Amlin Andretti si sposta dal sud della Francia verso Parigi, speriamo di lasciarci alle spalle la sfortuna di Monaco. Siamo impazienti di correre ancora a Parigi, anche se i due eventi si distanziano di pochi giorni. Il team ha lavorato sodo per la preparazione e anche per proseguire alcune nuove attività di sviluppo. Ad oggi, tutto è andato molto bene. Speriamo che il tempo non influisca troppo sulla corsa e non la rovini per i fan. Siamo eccitati di essere tornati a Parigi, la corsa dell’anno scorso è stato un evento straordinario ed è sempre un onore correre nel cuore dell’Europa.

L’ePrix di Parigi dell’anno scorso è andato abbastanza bene per me e per il team di MS Amlin Andretti. Ho battagliato con Antonio che, ed è buffo, l’anno scorso non era il mio teammate. Alla fine, sono arrivato settimo, un risultato niente male. Le ultime corse non sono andate bene, abbiamo proprio voglia di tornare ai punti, qui a Parigi. Il team ha lavorato molto con l’obiettivo di far punti all’arrivo. Vediamo che ci porterà, Parigi!

Il circuito di Parigi mi piace molto. Ho fatto una buona gara, l’anno scorso, e ho corso molto veloce. È uno dei circuiti più tecnici del calendario della Formula E ed è davvero difficile superare. Ci sono molte zone “Mickey Mouse”, difficili tecnicamente, che sono sfidanti. È importante che la macchina sia ben equipaggiata. È sempre molto bello correre nel centro di Parigi, non vedo l’ora. Sono ansioso di vedere se il team farà, come ha fatto in ogni gara, ulteriori passi avanti e se otterremo dei punti.

Paris, known as “The City of Light” is one of the most famous cities in the world, with visitors coming from all over to take in the sights. France is also the country where motorsport, as we know it today, was created and the city itself is part of that history. At just 1.9 kilometers, the track is one of the shortest on the Formula E calendar, taking place around the historic Les Invalides complex, where a sold-out crowd will cheer on the field of top-level racing drivers.
In Season 2, Robin Frijns scored his sixth top-10 finish of the season at the Paris ePrix, finishing seventh and just ahead of his current MS Amlin Andretti teammate, Antonio Felix da Costa, who finished ninth. The Andretti Formula E team enters the Paris race weekend with 18 championship points, sitting eighth in the rankings but only one point behind seventh-place Faraday Future Dragon Racing.
As the MS Amlin Andretti team moves up from the south of France to Paris, we are hoping that we have left the bad luck of Monaco behind us. We are looking forward to racing here again in Paris even though it’s only been a few days between events. The team has been hard at work with preparations and even with some new development activities. So far, everything has gone really well. We are hoping that the weather doesn’t play too much of a part in the race and ruin it for the fans. We’re excited to be back in Paris, it was a tremendous event last year and it’s always an honor to race in the heart of Europe.

The Paris ePrix last year went pretty well for me and the MS Amlin Andretti team. I had a good fight with Antonio which was fun because he wasn’t my teammate last year. In the end, I finished seventh which wasn’t a bad result. We’ve had a difficult time the past few races and we are looking to finally get back into the points in Paris. The team has been working very hard for a good finish. Let’s see what Paris brings us!

Paris is a track that I really like. I did well there last year and was very quick. It’s one of the most technical tracks on the Formula E calendar and it’s very hard to overtake. There are a lot of the tough, technical “Mickey Mouse” areas which provide a challenge. It’s important to have a good setup in the car. To race in the center of Paris is always really cool so I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited to see if as a team we can take another step forward like we have been doing each race and target some points.
