Londra, Gran Bretagna. 24 Maggio 2016. La Formula E ha ottenuto il via libera per il finale della stagione 2015-2016 che si terrà al Battersea Park, il 2 e 3 luglio.

A seguito di un accordo tripartito tra Wandsworth Borough Council e il Gruppo di Azione del Battersea Park, il controllo giurisdizionale ha dato l’ok definitivo, permettendo che l’organizzazione della corsa possa andare avanti come previsto.

L’evento di luglio sarà la gara finale del Campionato 2015-2016 di Formula E al Battersea Park e la serie di corse di auto elettriche è alla ricerca di un luogo alternativo per la gara di Londra che si svolge sulle strade della capitale britannica.

Il CEO di Formula E Alejandro Agag ha dichiarato:

“Siamo molto soddisfatti che il VISA Londra ePrix vada avanti come previsto. Vorremmo ringraziare tutte le persone coinvolte nel contribuire a rendere le gare al Battersea Park un tale successo. Ora vediamo l’ora di trovare una nuova casa a Londra, utilizzando le strade e sullo sfondo di una delle più famose e riconoscibili città del mondo”.

Formula E gets green light for Visa London ePrix in Battersea

London, UK. May 24 2016. The FIA Formula E Championship has been given the all-clear for the 2015/16 season finale to take place in Battersea Park on July 2 and 3.

Following a tripartite agreement between Wandsworth Borough Council and the Battersea Park Action Group, the judicial review has been dropped allowing the race to go ahead as planned.

The July event will be the final Formula E race in Battersea Park, and the all-electric racing series is looking for an alternative venue for the London race taking place on the streets of the British capital.

Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag said:

“We are very pleased that the Visa London ePrix will go ahead as planned. We would like to thank everybody involved in helping to make the races in Battersea Park such a success. We now look forward to finding a new home in London, using the streets and backdrop of one of the most famous and recognisable cities in the world.”
