Le prove libere del team Trulli
Punta Del Este, Uruguay – 13 Dicembre 2014. Dopo le prime due sessioni di prove libere il team Trulli Formula E ha entrambi i piloti più in basso calendario del previsto a causa di problemi di frenata e di traffico.

Nelle prime prove sono rimasta fuori subito dopo l’inizio perchè sono girata e non ho avuto molto tempo per la pratica.
La seconda mi ha lasciato con una sensazione che sulle chicanes la vettura stava andando meglio rispetto le prime prove. Nel complesso, la sensazione di frenata non era così buona come avrebbe dovuto essere e, purtroppo, il mio volante era leggermente montato a sinistra e ciò ha inciso la sensazione generale. Tuttavia, un po’ di traffico ha causato che il mio posteriore sinistro sia andato a schiantarsi contro il muro.
Ma siamo sicuri che le qualifiche avranno un esito più positivo. Sono felice di essere in Q4, che ci dà più tempo di guardare e valutare ulteriormente il circuito.

Nelle seconde prove ho avuto un po’ di traffico, con la prima vettura nel terzo settore. Il primo settore sembra ragionevole ed i miei freni erano buoni, ma dopo non sono stati ugualmente efficienti. La pista è migliorata con il passare dei giri, ma è difficile per me stabilire le condizioni della pista, senza i freni correttamente funzionati e di conseguenza è impossibile entrare in una curva con la giusta velocità.
Ho avuto alcuni problemi con la seconda vettura, ma ad essere onesti, non posso dire perché dal momento in cui non ho avuto via libera e quindi risulta difficile giudicare fino a quando i meccanici non avranno dato un’occhiatta.
The free practice of Trulli Team
Punta Del Este, Uruguay – December 13, 2014. After the first two free practises the Trulli Formula E team has got both drivers further down the timetable than expected due to braking and traffic issues.

FP1 wasn’t off to a great start as I spun out not leaving much time left for practise.
FP2 left me with a better sensation over the chicanes than in P1, as the the car was rolling better this time. Overall, the braking sensation wasn’t as good as it should have been and unfortunately my steering wheel was mounted slightly to the left which impacted the overall feeling. However, a bit of traffic caused my rear left to crash into the wall.
But we are confident that Qualifying will have a more positive outcome. I’m happy to be in Q4 which gives us more time to watch and assess the circuit further.

In P2 I had a bit of traffic with the first car in the third sector. The first sector seems reasonable and my brakes were good. But after this they weren’t as good anymore. The track improved as we went along but it’s difficult for me to establish the condition of the track as without the brakes working properly, it’s impossible to get into the corner with the right speed as a consequence.
I had some problems with the second car too, but to be honest, I can’t say why since I didn’t have a clear run leaving it difficult to judge until the mechanics have had a look.
