Dayton, Ohio. USA. 24 Maggio 2016. Dopo una giornata frenetica nell’hangar mobile a Dayton, Ohio e presso il Centro di Controllo Missione a Monaco, Solar Impulse 2 è confermata per il decollo per il suo volo fino a Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania il 25 maggio alle 08:00 UTC, 10:00 UTC, 04:00 AM EDT.

I tifosi hanno mantenuto l’hangar gonfiato dopo aver sperimentato una breve interruzione di corrente, l’aereo ha subito controlli per verificare che non sia stato provocato nessun danno dall’evento.

Gli ingegneri hanno dato il via libera al volo!

Il volo di domani dovrebbe durare circa 17 ore per raggiungere Lehigh Valley, in Pennsylvania.

After the fans that keep the mobile hangar inflated experienced a brief power failure, the plane underwent checks to verify that no damages resulted from the event.

Now the engineers gave the green light!

The flight tomorrow is expected to last approximately 17 hours to reach Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
