Buenos Aires, Argentina. 18 February 2017. Faraday Future Dragon Racing returned to the streets of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with both drivers finishing in the top eight today for the third round of the 2016/17 Formula E championship.

The 1.54-mile street circuit is the only setting to feature an ePrix in every season since the Formula E’s inception in 2014. Sequestered amongst the foliage of Parque Micaela Bastidas, the tight hairpin turns and straights form a circuit that remains a favorite among the Faraday Future Dragon Racing drivers and the perfect locale for an event to demonstrate the potential of sustainable mobility.

Frechman Loïc Duval (no. 6), who started today’s race in 14th position, fought through the field and executed his strategy on target. Duval managed a two-position overtake after the full-course yellow in the early portions of the race and proceeded to steadily make his way through the field. He made his pitstop on lap 19 and gained two positions, coming out in eighth. Overtaking Mitch Evans (Jaguar Panasonic) with ten laps to go, Duval came head-to-head with his teammate in the final portions of the race. He captured a sixth place finish and now holds nine points in the championship drivers’ standings.

“It’s our third time returning to this circuit in Argentina and today’s race was definitely the most exciting,” said Duval. “Apart from some setbacks suffered in the earlier practice sessions, the team showcased the technical fervor that we’ve been developing since the onset of the season. Today’s race is only the foundation of our capabilities with Faraday Future and I’m looking forward to our continued collaboration.”
